Not at all, they legally don't have to divulge any information to us, the process doesn't concern the fans or give us any entitlement what is going on. Only creditors can ask such questions and then will only be on a need to know basis.

You are probably correct with that but they don't have to accept 25/35% and could demand more irrespective of what the EFL state, they have a bigger say than just unsecured creditors, that is why they got a ruling in their favour.

It makes sense why Ashley wants to sue Quantuma now because he must have heard about Appleby’s bid and he know he won’t match it.

You're not basing your view on facts, you're basing your view on opinions from people with sonething to gain and going along with popular opinion and confirmation bias.
Your credibility was shot the when you blabber some BS about the Council having the stadium issue sorted months ago.
The facts say  that 9 months in administration isnt particularly long, even in less complex situations. The interest you talk of is not a firm offer, so can't be acted on.
They named a PB based on documents officially put forward and verified by a number of sources. Other bidders had not bothered to do this, and even if they had those figures were below the best offer on the table.
You constantly forget that administrators have legal rules to abide by.
You clearly ignore just what the roadblocks were which lead to it dragging into April
You clearly ignore the impact they had on things.
I'm not defending Quantuma and see that there have been mistakes, however the idea that they're acting illegally to gain some money is really stupid when you consider just how much they have to lose.
I'm reacting against the idiots who have decided that Q are the bad guys, those influenced by known bullshiters, not against those who are FAIRLY critical of them.
tbh I don't have the time to do into a full thing with you right now, these  are just rushed responses.

This is my fear. I do not see a quick resolution to this escalation from Ashley & the timing of it is appalling considering the 2 months we've wasted on Kirchner. If Ashley truly believed Quantuma's actions merited court action & he still wanted the club, why was this not brought when Kirchner was named PB in April?
Imagine that he will have to offer the highest amount to creditors & use the reduction in Quantuma's fees to make the deal attractive for himself (using the EFL to threaten golden share to force a sale) but then he has the problem of getting Morris to sell PP to him. I also don't know what happens if one of the other groups hits the amount Quantuma are asking for in the meantime - does Ashley seek an injunction to stop the sale until he gets what he wants? This is a really unwelcome development unless Ashley has a watertight plan to wrap everything up quickly.

If Ashley was expecting to be named preferred bidder in January but wasn’t, does that not fit with the whole debacle where Quantuma presented the EFL with a plan and they vetoed it because of the ‘Boro issue?  And Jagielka left the day after etc.
If that’s the case, then I don’t really see what claim Ashley has - if the EFL vetoed Quantuma’s plan, there wasn’t going to be a preferred bidder until they sorted everything out the the EFL.

Sorry but for a supposedly intelligent kid with a good career ahead of him you aren't half susceptible to fall for any old crap that backs up your opinion.
Read the posts from sensible posters since this story came out, they can see straight through it.
Going after me on the basis of something Mike f****** Ashley alleges, which hasn't even be proven, really?
As I said all along, IF Quantuma have done anything it'll come out in the wash and they'll pay the consequences- this however is not 'the wash' it's another piece of grandstanding for idiots to fall for without question, alleged against an easy target for the personal gain of someone we all already know to be an unscrupulous b******.
    Get a grip.

MA may have come to an agreement with MM over the stadium, just guessing. However that's no good without the club but he isn't prepared to pay what is required.

Ashley had no luck with his media inspired attack on the administrators now resorting to the courts.
Just shows how desperate he is to get his hands on the ground, how does MA know whether there is no justification paying rent for the stadium but is still to table a bid, that says it all, give in and accept my price or i will make a takeover as hard as possible.

If Mike Ashley is so desperate to be our owner, why doesn't he just put in a bid that makes him the highest bidder. He is probably the richest man in the process so quit f***ing about.
I would imagine that this is designed to make it impossible for quantuma to accept any bids until this is settled, thus putting off all other bidders, leaving him a free run to get it for cheap.
In my opinion putting Derby fans through further delays and worry will just mean that he will be roundly disliked before he's even walked through the door, and it's hard to imagine he will be left with anything more than a shell of a football club.
He may at that point give himself a massive pat on the back for driving a hard bargain but I'm not sure that more than handful of Rams fans will share his enthusiasm.

So we have the Appleby consortium with just over £40 mill on the table versus Mike 'I've got £28 mill in a bank account ready to go' Ashley. Two other bidders allegedly sit in the wings. Both Appleby and Fat Mike want the stadium but only one wants to pay Quantuma's fees and the other is suing them for not affording him PB status despite lodging the lowest bid they received.
    Tough call ?

Can't win the raffle unless you buy a ticket. Sounds like he wanted to be named PB without making a formal bid which, if true, is a bit of a bleedin' cheek. I imagine there'd only be one way his bid would have gone in those circumstances - and would that have been enough to keep us in the league?

He can sue someone in the blink of an eye, but it takes him more than a week to update his bid. Priorities, eh?.. ?
