Over the coming months I'll be adding over 500 items so far that weve collected to preserve for generations to come. These items are at the hands of the Heratage trust and Derby County collection should they want to use them for future displays for fans to enjoy. Be nice to put them all in a club museum but unfortunately one doesnt exist at the moment. If anyone has any shirts please get in touch, we will be happy to purchase any items we haven't managed to pick up yet and preserve those in our collection as well. We have duplicates we are willing to trade with to fill our collection if a swap is more desirable. Thank you and hope everyone enjoys the photos ??

Seriously, I couldn't give a * about the actual colour of the (second) shirt if it's got the ram on it. Even though that is red it's still a thing of beauty.

I worked with and then took over from Tim when he retired from the local concrete company at Barton In the early 1980’s . 
He was a true gent , had plenty of Rams stories and opinions on the poor side we had at the time. Used to meet him periodically over the years until his death.

My all time favourite Derby kit, the introduction of the iconic Umbro diamonds on the sleeves was the magic ! My first shirt as a seven year old kid, this shirt was owned by Trevor East of tiswas fame and given to him by his good friend Bruce Rioch during his time on the board, they used to drive in together from Birmingham, this was the last shirt that I was after so might take it easy for a bit now, it was also worn by Gerry daly with the famous repainting of the penalty spot against Man City the 1976/78 umbro home shirt and full kit

This book by local Derby historian Peter Seddon is an absolute “must read” for Derby County fans. Exquisitely and beautifully written, the prose takes you back 135 years to the very moments at the Bell Hotel in Sadlergate, Derby in May 1884 when the “upstart” Chocolate & Cambridge Blues were created; you are taken through the journey piece by piece and can almost hear the discussion which took place in that salubrious yet smokey hotel room. Beautiful stuff...Repton schoolmasters, farm labourers and Midland Railway clerks combine during a unique period of English social change to create the Beloved Club we know today. All in the name of filling the empty coffers of the faltering cricket club...

Never gets old does it! 

My all time favourite season watching the Rams was 1986/87, great times as a teenager And great times for our football club, my all time favourite game was that last game of the season v Plymouth where we cemented or position as League Champions.
My visitor today was none other than the joint spearhead of our attack who was always scoring goals for Derby ..Philip Gee, he has very kindly entrusted me to look after his shirt from that season and that he wore in that last game, complete with stains from the day and that season, that now sits proudly with Bobby Davison’s shirt from that season and also the second division championship winners medal ! What a trio ! Also mark wallingtons shirt from the season, it’s like instant time travel back to 1987 ! Oh what a time to be alive ! 
Massive thanks to Phil and another massive shirt from our history preserved for future generations of Derby County fans !
