No, the money is ringfenced and released per game in that season I believe.

Let me give you an example of your so-called Commodore fan @jimtastic56. My son went to the Birmingham game. It was his sixth match this season. He lives in Brentwood, Essex, a round trip of roughly 400 miles. He's 30 and a teacher in a primary school and he had an after school event that didn't finish until about 6pm and got home just before kick off - he starts work at about 8am after driving 30 miles round the M25 from his home to his school so he gets up at 6am every morning. He did watch it on TV. The win really gave him a boost (as it did to us all).
Oh, and he's a season ticket holder as well - £550 in the coffers even though he knows he can't get to the ground very often but he wants to sit with his dad without his dad having to move. We've had the same seats since PP opened. And, Gibson willing, we'll have the same seats next year too. And he has a shirt - new one every year.
I dare say that on Sunday there were a fair few who bought tickets thinking that it might be the last time they'll ever watch the Rams but who have been fans all/most of their lives even if, like my son, they can't come every match. A 22,000 gate of vociferous, supportive fans was great for a midweek game on TV, so let's not get sniffy at 8k plus who were at home, no doubt boosting a Sky audience making it more likely that Sky will cover us again and give us more money.

I haven't got time to mop up sexist comments, I am too busy making cups of tea for the other mods!

If you can get south west upper, my boys always loved it there when little - less full on and they can see but right near south stand for the atmosphere. Werent many left there couple of days ago though

Waghorny reacted to Day in Wayne Rooney
Wait, please tell me we're not questioning Rooney's loyalty now? The bloke has been through more in his year in charge that some will go in their entire career and stood by us when it could quite easily have gone tits up with the academy players leaving him looking hopeless!
Any Championship manager is taking the Everton job, not one of them would turn it down, but for Rooney he has that extra connection being his boyhood club and won't know if this opportunity would ever come around again.
If this was a Birmingham City, I would get the anger but it's more than that, and if you're honest and putting yourself in that position you would do the same.
Of course we all sat here want what's best for this club, right now that is for Rooney to stay, Rooney has to do what is best for his career and family and Cheshire to Everton is an easier commute which = more family time. Let's not forget here the blokes a human, just like us all.
I hate that he's even being asked, we know the answer and it puts him in an awkward position, if he sits there and says I swear on my kids life I'm not going to Everton and reveals a Ram tattoo on his hairy backside, the Everton hierarchy would get the message and leave him be. He would also look a fool saying yes I want the job, Everton may not even be interested and it's just the media, what does that say to the players on the eve of a game with their local rivals whilst the clubs existence is under threat.
I seriously HATE, that has even been brought up, especially today as we don't need any negativity around the players and management.

Yeah seems mental that he might think about leaving a club that might not exist in a months time, for an opportunity at his boyhood club, in a higher division, where at worst he will get sacked and have the rest of his contract paid off.

Waghorny got a reaction from Boycie in Louie Sibley
If we're (inevitably I think) getting shot of Lawrence to save his 20K+ p/w wages, Sibley will not be going - someone needs to fill that gap.

I think Rooney views Sibley as the successor to Lawrence. If he can cut out the silly fouls he has a great future as a number 10.
