Stagtime

Just outside of Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef is not far off the coast hence no waves and all in our backyard. Just not a place to visit between Nov to March, monsoon season so it’s wet and humid and you have to wear stinger suits in the water so the irukanji jellyfish don’t get you. The rest of the year there is beautiful.

Did for me buddy. Not sure what the issue was really but from my PoV, its good to know there's still a big old world to explore out there. Not long now and we should all be able to be off on a jaunt or two. Anyway, hope you're home safe and sound buddy.

Just booked a holiday to Palm Cove, Far North Queensland for end of May. One of our favourite places to stay.

We’ll be there end of May so just on the start of winter. Should be around 27deg but the humidity will be low. 

Some waterproof rating. 15000 -3000 is a good rating, 5000 is classed waterproof so 10,000 should be the ducks guts.

So can you camp under water?
obviously with the zip up, I’m not stupid.

No offence buddy but your last couple of posts remind me of my brothers Facebook. He lives in southern France. Slightly insensitive posts of him out and about enjoying himself in the sunshine whilst most of us are restricted to our local area in a cold and wet UK and with no immediate prospect of getting away to sunnier climes anytime soon. 
His posts annoy the hell out of my elderly parents who can’t even get out the house. Luckily, I’ve never followed him on Facebook so only hear about what he’s up to second hand.

It’s easier to think every animal will try to take you out. Don’t for a moment think that those little furry things aren’t ready to get you! Even worse they’ve been eyeing off my hot cross buns, assholes.

Well after a few eventful days outrunning COVID border closures we finally made it back to NSW. Biggest issue is we can’t get back into QLD for 14 days! Might as well see some of the remote parts of OZ. We are camping in the highest tourist park in Australia at Kosciusko national park.
