This is the first time I’ve not had a favourite player for Derby, I wouldn’t care if we swapped every single player. Here’s a list of some players I would like:
    Jake Cooper
    Liam Lindsay
    Alan Browne
    Sergi Canos
I’d also like to see Kyle McAllister given a go next season

Me and junior Hants walked down to the seafront from the station. Saw the sea and those rusting remains of the pier that burnt down.
Thought Brighton was disappointing. Very tatty and most of the bars looked half derelict.
You didn't miss much in truth mate!

Just got back from Falmer. Here are a few observations:
The best pie I’ve had all season.
The train platform system leaving the ground is not effective
Their fans were silent, in parts ours were great however, definitely think we could do with some more impactful songs
Ashley Cole’s positional play is great
Wish we’d kept CamJam instead of Nuge
Marriott is not best used sat deep and neither is Waghorn best used out wide, nor is Harry Wilson on the left.
Finally, all the way to Sussex and I didn’t even see the sea

Very tough decision for me. I've been sat in the North Stand since the age of 6 with my mum. I really enjoy chatting to the old couple and their great-grandsons on the other side of me as well.
I also get really frustrated when I feel like I can't sing, shout, scream and swear in the North Stand. When I see the South Stand bouncing I feel slightly frustrated, wishing I was one of them.
I've been considering moving for a couple of years now but I'm not sure whether I have the heart to leave the people I currently sit with. I've expressed my interest anyway so I still have the option.

Andy King - Cool, Composed and intelligent. Leader at Leicester and I believe an extremely important player for us moving forward.
Oh and he adds much needed height to the midfield.

My learned friend @loweman2 beat me to it...Peter Seddon’s book is the source and Peter deserves huge credit for it was he who uncovered the lost history of the period 1884-1888. So, as Peter wrote the Rams have characteristic Taurean traits being born in May.
I find the history of the Rams wonderfully compelling given that it is full of ironies...William Morley was a man from Sneinton in Nottingham, we were formed to help Derbyshire CCC pay for a new stand after a very poor run of results left them in debt; we were an upstart in terms of other clubs in Derby who had more “right” to be founder members but our “rich turf” at the Racecourse Ground and lavish dinners that we threw for the football opponents at the Bell Hotel in Sadlergate after each game meant we acquired powerful friends who welcomed our inclusion in the nascent Football League In 1888.
Wonderful rich history thanks to Peter Seddon.

    I've always been told 13th May 1884.
Originally we were called "Derbyshire County Football Club" and that was announced in the papers on 7th May 1884 (the papers can be seen at the Record Office and Local Studies Library). The name got changed 6 days later though to avoid confusion with another football club called "Derbyshire County Football Association".  The new and current name of course being "Derby County Football Club".
The final name was chosen and 'christened' at the Bell Hotel on Sadler Gate which is why we should all aim to have at least one obligatory pint in there on a night out.

I’m not too sure. Last season we had Rowett, who obviously wasn’t too enthusaed about youth. He’d be on equall footing to Thomas. Personally, I see him as the more exciting prospect out of the two, despite being slightly behind in ‘development terms’ at the moment.

It pains me deeply to suggest this, or even to mention the 'W' word on our forum, but I believe we could learn a lot from Wolves present system and style of play!
I am not entirely sold on the 4-3-3 system, as those that were at the game saw for themselves yesterday we get stretched badly in midfield. If Reading can do that with such ease, it goes some way to explaining bad losses to the likes of Leeds earlier in the season. However Wolves are a good exponent of the system, and the reason why is the balance of styles they play within 90 minutes.
The key point is adaptability, and the freedom and desire to not necessarily stick to one mode of play. All of this of course is centred around one player, Conor Coady. It is easy to pass this off and say that we simply don't have that style of player, however I think our very own Tomori could become what Coady is for Wolves. He is forward looking, excellent in defence (we will gloss over his error yesterday that led to the goal) and with the right encouragement could look to play the ball out from the back a bit more. What Coady and Wolves do that we don't do is find a balance between 'football' (whatever that is) and playing in a more direct fashion (I guess you could call it route one). Our forwards are not exactly giants, but neither are Wolves forwards, they simply make the runs and the centre halves ping the ball in to them downfield. The reason why I am saying all this is because so often we get caught up in the 'football' style, forgetting that Marriott and his counterparts up front are making runs for absolutely nothing because our back four are passing it sideways. Wolves don't always look to go forward, they don't always look to play it out from the back, they are happy to adapt and use both to their advantage! I am not suggesting we bang it down the pitch every time we get it at the back, thats pointless because we don't have a big CF, I am suggesting something more of a lofted through ball every now and then to serve Marriott with his cutting runs in behind the defence.
Sometimes we are electric, but when the opposition works us out and changes their formation, what is to say that we cant work them out and try a few diagonals and long through balls to our front three which we know full well can carve up a defence and make them look a league below! Maybe it is the stigma of the long ball, but I don't think it is such a bad thing as an option, rather than as a priority.
