  1. Warne has been a terrific appountment for this league. He knows how to get out of it. I genuinely think automatic is a possibility. I think Ipswich will go up but I've a feeling Plymouth won't be able to sustain things and Wednesday seem to constantly drop points against teams they're expected to beat. And remember, Warne hasn't had chance to bring in his own style of players yet. A few strong signings in January and let's see what happens...

There's quite a few Derby pods running at the moment.

I like Rams Review because they usually try to get a podcaster from the other team on which gives a good perspective.

There's also Talk Derby to me, the ranswriter, Steve Bloomer's washing and probably more, sorry if I've missed any, they're ones I've regularly listened to.

On twitter, depends if you want "credible source of DCFC news" (very thin on the ground) or "DCFC fans whose twitter account I like" - go to the BBC Derby Sport twitter and have a look at who is replying and go from there would be my advice.

    Hope that's helpful.

Many thanks mate, I'll have a look and check all of those out. Cheers.

  3. In Italy it seems to happen all of the time. They just change the club’s full name slightly and start again, but I think a lot of the clubs rent their grounds from the council so start up at the same stadium but in a lower league. I’m still convinced we won’t go under, I think Mike Ashley has been vocal enough in the last couple of days to show that he’s genuinely interested in stepping in.

  4. Looking forward to it.

I’ve got a mate who’s a Wednesday fan and said despite not going up he’d enjoyed at least being at the right end of the table and winning plenty of matches. They’ve averaged 2500 away from home so obviously plenty of opportunities for away tickets despite some smaller allocations.

I suspect we will now become ‘the scalp’ for many teams like Sunderland & Wednesday have been in the last few seasons, which could make it trickier if teams up their game when they play us.

Would love him to stay and settle down here. He seems happy at the club and his performances have steadily improved. Be great to see him fulfil his potential here. Classy footballer.

Completely agree. The last thing he needs now is another change. He'd better off staying with a club that he's settled at, even if it's in League One, rather than trying his luck elsewhere and it not working out.

When you think of the clubs that have - Coventry, Milwall, Portsmouth, Wigan, QPR, Ipswich, Southampton, Sunderland, Stoke, Middlesborough, Hull - it's quite amazing how badly we have performed. We've had about two decent cup runs since Hillsborough '76 and would probably rank very near the top of any table that showed under performance compared to average league position.

Even Chesterfield have got closer since, and they're non-league......

Yeah, you’d think by the law of averages we’d have got to at at least one more semi since 1976. I think previous to that the next semi-final appearance was way back in 1948, also against Utd at Hillsborough.
