If Knight has an option I expect it's taken up by the club. The other 2 will be offered a further year. I expect McGoldrick to get a better one year offer money wise, based on his goals and assists, from lower to mid table Championship clubs as he will be a useful squad addition and they won't need to play him every week.
The Knight extension would be taken up and if he shows no inclination to stay longer we would definitely accept any decent offer in the summer transfer window but that would depend on who he chose to play for. My gut feeling is that he would wait until his contract expired before he moved on.

Always makes me smile to see other clubs struggling as they can’t sell their players for inflated fees - it’s because we haven’t been allowed to waste money doing just that - a bit of an irony

Sadly, man utd have picked up a few injuries and now their Euro tie is delicately poised may decide they can take a chance against forest with a weaker team
I can see another scabby 1-0 to the home team a la Liverpool, with about 18% possession and 1 attempt on goal ...🙄
They have been incredible at getting a result whilst being dreadful with the help of opponents hitting the woodwork missing penalties missing open goals etc whilst scoring a goal off a knee without even shooting, I think the World Cup break helped them massively in being able to try and organise a complete defence which worked for a while whilst a lot of the opposition returned from the World Cup rather unorganised or rested.

Suspended for 8 months, I wonder how many CEOs they're likely to appoint in the next 8 months? It seems to be a totally pointless 'punishment', literally.
The EFL get £50,000 for their Christmas bash and travel expenses which can’t be overlooked

What about jasion knight pently that stone cold but oh no not given wander why.
That wasn’t a penalty B4 - I had an excellent view and I was more annoyed that he didn’t cut inside and shoot on goal - I suspect going down like that is a consequence of being in the Eire squad

We have had 7 penalties this season only one behind the highest penalty earners. Wycombe have had 2 and Cheltenham have only had one all season. Fans were screaming for a penalty for Collins punching the ball. It is all supposed to even itself out over a season.
Morcombe can complain as 4 of them were against them 😂

This is a similar charge that has been directed at Birmingham, which would suggest a similar 'punishment'.
As regards as having no advantage on the pitch, surely his decisions do affect what goes on throughout the club including what happens on the pitch?
The Birmingham judgement will be very interesting as those other people involved (against the rules) put money in which clearly helped them fund debts and wages a good example of that is the money for the Belick loan which has clearly helped them avoid relegation.

Isn't the main thing that we saw the rules being applied rigorously to us last season, as suich you would expect all breaches to be punished immediately.
Seems to me that we are the only club where the punishment is immediate, I mean we were within the rules until they were changed retroactively.
Was also amused to see that QPR are still paying off their FFP fine now.
Maybe I'm wrong, but seems that we had everything at once, even had to own the stadium, not apply for Covid loan etc, whereas other clubs breaking a rule get a suspended and a paltry fine.
A heavily reduced QPR fine !

They don’t even bother to hold their heads in this league they just sit down and wait for the referee to blow their whistle and everybody else leaves the football pitch for a lovely chat.
Against Ipswich it was hilarious we had a period in the game where Ipswich were second best and their manager shouted for one of them to hit the deck and instantly two of them followed the order (and the nearest) and dropped like flies - the Referees know what is happening and they should just let the game play on but they haven’t got the bottle to play on - players know when someone is properly injured or not.

Great post, thanks @Lowerman2.
DCFC's days as a top flight club are gone, but our rich history and the clubs heritage is built on those glorious days when we were up there competing the best in England and Europe.
Makes you remember how unsuccessful clubs like Tottenham are

Looking at Italian Football not much has changed in terms of corruption
it does make you wonder what is occurring in the English game nowadays with so many foreign owners and dodgy characters owning clubs and the finances at stake ( VAR officials at Wembley play off championship final makes you wonder)

I haven’t called out the subs .
I am asking the question are the substitutions too late in games when a reaction is needed .
Warne is the manager and is his own man .
I don’t think Hourihane was happy at being substituted and was playing well .
Tactically were Warnes substitutions right on the day .
Does it matter who are the subs and how many are used - this season they have made very little positive impact in my opinion. Yes a few times but not many in the league.
try to think of many games in terms of scoring goals and creating them - Port Vale away - Dobbin, Barkhauzen scored a goal at Accrington, off the top of my hat I can’t remember any others having an impact.
-
I doubt Birmingham could afford him anyway and I mean his wages ( which they are not paying the full amount currently) they received substantial funds by improper means this season to finance different things and face any kind of sanction the EFL feel would be warranted - the EFL don’t seem to like Birmingham in the same vein that they wanted to do in DCFC

Depends who makes these lists up doesn’t it?
Maybe it’s a few agents who do these things🤔 -

Only been there 6 months, had one transfer window.
Chris Wood and Jonjo Shelvey, yeah I can understand it 😂
Probably wasn’t doing anything anyway as the owners son has signed that barrel load of mis matched players

He’s just stating the obvious- let’s wait and see what happens

I can’t wait to have a manager who isn’t working with what’s in the building and is able to able to recruit sensibly to what makes us better rather than putting X1 players out on the pitch.

Forest v Forest and they still lost! 😄
They didn’t actually shoot at each other just threatened that they might - anyway the owner has folks who makes people disappear like all those witnesses in the match fixing case against hi.

We probably had more shots today than you've had away from home all season 😂
4 away games to try and beat a record that even the 'worst team in history' don't hold...
Hold on a minute - it’s probably more shots than they have had at Home never mind away from home 🤔

Wildsmith - nothing to do bar pick the ball out of the net
Rooney - ok but again up the pitch too much when 3 at the back
Cashin - tying to do too much
Roberts - did well but again too far up the pitch when 3 at the back
Smith - played well - no idea why he was subbed off
Hourihane - tried but not his day
knight - again caught waiting for contact in the box rather than taking a decent chance to shoot
mendiz Lang - did some things excellently and some things badly but still our main creative player like it or not
Barkhauzen - shame his shot didn’t go in when he hit the post otherwise a average game
McGoldrick - tries his best
Collins - blindingly obvious that he is better with a partner up front - came close a couple of times to scoring
subs - I didn’t see them improve on the starting X1
-
-
Always changes at Easter - I expect Barkhauzen to start and probably for Sibley - I would probably risk starting mendiz as it’s usually the first 60 minutes or bust from him anyway. I don’t expect Chester to start two games in three days so Forsyth will probably start again - I would keep two scrappers in central midfield = Smith and Knight but that probably won’t happen

To be fair to the manager he is trying to get as many goal scorers into the side as possible whilst keeping some balance to the side.
