Get this Maguire is not being cynical but says he thinks other clubs out there are annoyed with Derby not paying tax because they took out EFL loans to pay theirs and are still in arrears and we used Covid as a tax get out .

Well fat lot of good that did us .

The EFL wouldn’t give us a loan allegedly

but others have HMRC debts, not as big, Middlesbrough have an £11m debt. Maguire can be very misleading

Shouldn’t he be buried inside the Stoke city accounts because the EFL are refusing to look at them until someone points it all out to them

It's what he does best, I'm a financial crime SME and the loan and payback arrangement between Roman and Chelsea raises the hair on the back on my neck, more red flags than at a bull fight

I don't think the link is available yet, I could be wrong.

It's Keiran Maguires POD podcast. I think it was done tonight so I assume the link will be available shortly.

Apparently he spoke about someone high up at the club and their behaviour not being very good. I've seen it mentioned that this person has been treating staff poorly.

Maguire or the Count as he likes to be known seems to be living off the amortisation claims, it would appear he is more ITK than all 0f the national journalists and has the inside track on a lot of clubs. Do I believe that…..no, when it comes to accountancy I believe him, when he talks outside of that I take it with a pinch of salt

We need goals so a very attacking team:

                          Allsop

            Cashin   Davies   Stearman

    Byrne  Sibley   Bielik   Morrison  Festy

                      Lawrence  CKR

yep I would go with that, 3 at the back and hit them down the sides

Well there was a comment to that effect wasn't there - something about additional expressions of interest? If they were a new party in this little admin dance then perhaps there are issues of funding proofs and suitable person tests on top of just evaluating what they are offering to see if it ticks enough boxes. We don't have a whole lot in terms of assets but how much is a golden share worth ? Depends on why you are buying it I suppose. If it is a pure business venture then you probably don't want to offer much but what would say a Gadsby type character be prepared to pay for that ? vs lowball and points deductions ?

Who know though right ? In the meantime we're just helpless and frustrated. Fact is that for all that we look like a terrible deal, something is worth what people will pay for it and that is down to perceptions of the viability of a deal and what competition you have. A failure to comply with minimal settlement of debt is certainly a possibility but in truth none of knows how likely or not.

yes I agree, we need to pay off the debt as per EFL rules otherwise we get a -15 deduction. I don't blame the administrators for keeping quiet

Some bugger else ? or maybe Gadsby back in with a consortium.

Just have a feeling that the delay is due to a late entry.....nothing at all to back it up. If it was just the 3 (now 2) wouldn't it have been sorted by now?

It was only for boys when it was on darley park, but when they built the new one girls went there as well. It was classed as e technical school, you passed your 11plus but not as many marks as the grammer schools. At that time it was one of the few mixed schools, i had the choice of going there or noel baker which was classed the same. Your sister would have had the choice of parkfields or homelands.

I went to Homelands when my father had been posted back to the UK (Army) it was like a war zone. We then went to live in Chad and I went to Henry Cavendish, not surprised they changed its name. Having just moved back to chad (you can guess the reasons) I think it has improved and doesn't deserve the reputation it once had

  8. I think the lad needs a rest. A few of our youngsters have played more than was expected this year and I think it is showing. I think CKR needs to start the next game, I know Wayne likes Plange's mobility but he needs to be taken out of the firing line for a couple of games

If Kirchner is paying £40 m for Preston, why did binnies only offer £30 m for Derby also including the stadium? We do not require £50m to take the club out of admin. We need £44m I think the figure GoC mentioned to avoid any furter penalties from EFL.

I think my now we all should take figures and ITK in the social media with a pinch of salt. I have a feeling (based on far too much coffee) that our new owner will be a bid outside of those mentioned....just a feeling

    What a hypocrite.

Never had an issue with Chelsea but they were a big club because of the owners money, without it they will become what they always were a mid table Prem team. Bigger than Derby but smaller than Spurs, Arsenal and probably West Ham. Man City are the same.

  11. I don’t get the negativity with the Bournemouth fan’s they probably have the best squad in the league and are up their in the promotion battle. They seem worried about playing us, sure we will battle to the end but we are not Fulham. the Peterborough result seems to have got to them.

keep it tight and if they have no goal or few shots on targets by half time I think they will be booed off. If we score first I would not like to be Parker or their players

fancy a draw here but anything is possible.
