Cool As Custard reacted to Bald Eagle's Barmy Army in The Administration Thread
Straight after a big announcement tonight, maybe - media know a lot more than we think.

Apparently we're on again at 6.30 a.m. in the morning. Live at the ground - at that time! Who'll be listening then?

It's probably the only footage that the BBC has access to these days!

No - we dont have to pay it off in one go. We can continue to pay off at the original phasing agreed at the time of the transfer however we will have some catching up to do in the summer as because we were in administration Arsenal allowed us to delay the last payment that was due a few months ago until the end of the season.

Yes but remember those words came from the mouth of Natalie Jackson - I'd take it with a pinch of salt Roy!
Rather than say what I really think, I'll be kind and say she gets easily confused bless her ?

Finally realised why Gibson's vendetta against Derby ramped up just over 2 years ago
Once he'd sacked his chauffeur for calling his wife 'duck nuts' in 2019 he needed someone else to persecute
Wish I'd seen this before - you couldn't make it up ?

Now the chauffeur had been sacked for over two years, who is his wife getting a bit of jiggy with? Handsome baldy millionaire based in the Midlands?
If it turns out it's all been over nookie I think I'd laugh. Then have a breakdown.

Interesting how its worded - the EFL are desperate to avoid to being grilled further or be subject to further scrutiny by the Political Stakeholders (MPs). Clearly they have come to some agreement in principal with the administrators over the weekend which is now being formalized ahead of the new meeting tomorrow where they hope to 'resolve the outstanding issues to the satisfaction of all parties'.
To me it looks like a deal has been done which the EFL, Gibson & Couhig are all happy with or they wouldn't be wording it as they have above. If they then shaft us again tomorrow after postponing the meeting with MPs it is only going to lead to even more pain & scrutiny when another meeting with them is required.
Therefore I can only see this as a positive and wouldn't be surprised to see an agreement announced in the next '48 hours'.....
