Cue the EFL stalling until our backup option has secured a contract somewhere else before telling us that we can't have Gayle. Of course It'll need to be put before the independent EFL 'Make some new rules up because it's Derby' Panel which won't be gathering for at least 6 to 8 months depending on when they can be arsed to deal with it and how much inconvenience will be caused. They reserve the right to suddenly find it acceptable if Waghorn or Washington suddenly find fitness or if Collins recovers quicker than expected, just to minimise its usefulness to us and then they can move the goal posts and reduce the wage level that we are allowed so they can slap us with some spurious charges for some s*** they just made up.

    That would be funny , if it wasn't so🤬 🤬 true 🤣

Players are trained in the "dark arts" of football, I'm not going to say it's acceptable, But it's sure as hell part of the game now, Sean Dyche a few years back said "if any of his players cheat/dive for a penalty they'll be fined" no good being a martyr to the game if all and sundry are doing it.

I can go back as are far as the 60s you'd have to have your legs blown off with a shotgun in the box to get a penalty, TV, Pundits, Commentators, Film star players, Even the man in the middle is seen as some sort of Celebrity have changed the game since Sky got involved.

If DCFC win a penalty through gaining an advantage through the dark arts...well done I say?, If it's against us...bleedin cheats ?

Made me smile that ? But you forgot to add also pronounced dead ?

Worst referee ever! Derby County vs Port Vale matchday vlog!! - YouTube

Not condoning Collins red, But if you watch this youtube blog from around 9 mins 30, you see the red card from a different angle & clearly see the Port vale defender put his arms around Collins & they both fall to the ground, you can also see the "Ref" give a free kick to Port vale when it should have been a penalty, The "Ref" could clearly see what was going on but for whatever reason decided it  had to be a foul to Port vale ?

Not sure how to post the link ?

They occassionally use the word 'simulation' if the ref spots a dive, but they never state that someone has 'cheated' - players don't want to be called cheats so if it was called out more often, it would make them think twice.

There's also all the crap along the lines of someone 'winning' a free kick or penalty - you don't 'win' a penalty, it's awarded if you've been fouled - if a player has 'won' it because they've over exagerated the contact and thrown themself to the ground, then they shopuld be booked for ungentlemanly conduct - even if the pen is given.....

Exactly what my other half says about winning a penalty / freekick ! you don't win it? It is awarded ?

There were a couple of examples in the Everton vs Man Utd game yesterday - when the ball came in from an Everton corner there was the most obvious shirt pulling from Shaw - camera was directly on him as he tried to rip the other player's shirt off his back - nothing given, no VAR review, nothing from the commentators....the other one I recall was an Everton forward going up to head the ball as a Utd player grabbed his shirt and pulled him backwards so that he didn't get clear contact on the ball - again, nothing given and the only comment was that the defender had done well to 'put him off'. Until cheating is called out as such by the commentators and ex-players, I can't see it changing. Currently, they all think that a player using the 'dark arts' is being clever rather than ruining the game.....

It's happening every game now & I for one detest it ?  Not sure how anyone sorts it out now especially as commentators Ex players/ pundits think it's an acceptable part of the "Game", It's not its cheating & should be treated as such ?

Certainly is, But if memory serves...refs were told to keep a close eye on these clashes, I'm pretty sure 1 or 2 pens were given then it all stopped, I'd wager calls were made to the PGMOL and a new diktat was sent out ?‍♀️

Seem to remember that happening ! Not sure what can be done about it? But the way it's going on now, its ruining the game & the players & managers all seem to think it's an acceptable part of the game ?

Speak for yourself, I'm the first to condemn our players for diving, play acting and time wasting. It has ruined the game I once loved.

Totally agree with this ? I too hate all the play acting and time wasting & would condemn Derby players for doing the same (Unless Derby are 1-0 up in the FA cup final with a few minutes left to play?).

I would bring in a rule that if a player is down injured the clock is stopped until the player leaves the pitch, either on a stretcher or carried off, That would hopefully stop a lot of pretend injuries that we all know happens ?

    1. Too many penalties would be given, As opposed to all those free kicks that are given...the authorities would go ballistic.

    2. Good at convincing the official, Not good at convincing the official

    3. When is a foul, When the official says so

    1. is that not a good thing ?  If penalties were awarded for the blatant manhandling of players in the penalty area then they might think twice about doing it?  That would put a stop to some of the cheating that is ruining the game for me & countless other fans

If you've got a VPN on your laptop, you just need to connect the laptop to the TV to watch it on the TV. That has been my method. If you don't have a HMI connection on the laptop, you can crate one by using a HDMI/USB adapter. With ethernet cable linked to a power adapter from the laptop, it means that I never suffer buffering at all.

Thanks for the reply,  my Mrs will appreciate it ? having listened to me threatening to throw the TV through the window ?  ?

Yeah I get this on my tv browser so just screen mirror off my iPad now, which I’ve had no issue with. It did used to work straight through the tv browser too, think it stopped when I changed broadband provider.

I think thats what has happened to my TV (I have recently changed Broadband provider too) ?

    Devices

Due to the EFL broadcasting rights, you will not be able to watch RamsTV through a television, other than using a HDMI Cable. All other means are strictly forbidden under this ruling. This includes any airplay devices such as AppleTV and Chromecast.

Thanks for the reply ?  but whenever Derby were on last season I was able to watch via the Web browser on my smart TV via the Web browser? It won't even let me sign in

However I am watching on my laptop now
