Speculation about conjecture, MM has gone for good get over it, or do you need a bogey man to get through your day?

If WR had his sights set on managing in the Premier league, then appraising the next "few" seasons at DCFC he would have determined that, given no players can be signed and having to operate under a draconian EFL imposed business plan, then his career prospects would not have been enhanced. He has left as a saleable commodity with his reputation intact, staying on would have been a one way ticket to destroying that reputation.
I doubt NC would come back given the very underserved vitriol from a section of the fan base but for me he is the only logical choice in this division.

Outside of football most administrations are asset only sales, you only buy the assets not the business you therefore are not liable for debts which are not secured on the assets you are purchasing, also you do not have to pay HMRC as their debts stay behind with the insolvent business whose assets you have purchased. HMRC get any value from uncollected debtors or sale of machinery not included in the asset sale so they usually get crumbs. What is different here is that the EFL is a members club and if you want  to remain a member then you can only buy the business, which is the club and so you have to take ownership of the debts incurred by the club.
winding the club up would essentially remove all debts but would mean starting  again from the bottom of the pyramid

Anyone bidding but not purchasing the stadium should be ignored and ruled out, looking at the revenue generated this next 12 months by DCFC it is clear and obvious that cash injections will be needed of around £1- £1.5million/month just to keep the lights on as a going concern, by the owner.
If a bidder cannot afford mortgage repayments of around £1.65million a month, then they have not got enough cash to support the club.

Appleby's tenure was not a success and we were not run in a fiscally prudent way, here are the numbers
2008 a year when we received a parachute payment - Profit of £1.76million
    2009  Loss of £14.9 million
    2010 Loss of £2.16 million
    2011 Loss of £7.67 million
    2012 Loss of £7.93 million
    2013 Loss of £7.06 million
    2014 Loss of £7.04 million
    2015 Loss of £10.06 million
So in total during Appleby's leadership there were cumulative losses of £55 million, how is that the best financial health of the Rams in the modern era?
GSE pulled out because they wouldn't or couldn't keep bank rolling the losses and if El Presidente Sam Rush, (who sacked the manager who reduced the payroll by over 60% and signed some outstanding players for peanuts) ever gets near the club again he would probably complete the destruction of the club.

I have to disagree with you on the revenue for DCFC in League 1, no way will we generate £20 odd million in revenue
    here is my forecast
season tickets and gate receipts £7 million
    TV money £2.8 million
    Commercial activities £5 million
Total £14.8 million plus player sales
It is a dark dark depressing world in league 1
