  1. Hi all,

We currently have 2 spare seats on our bus up to Pride Park on 18/2 for the home game Vs Charlton. Current stops organised are as follows:

    Colchester
    Ipswich
    Stowmarket
    Kettering

We can add others along the A14 such as Bury St Edmunds or Cambridge if people need.

The price is £37.50 per person.

Please let me know if anyone is interested in coming with us ?

The reason you can't get tickets this season is because you are armchair fans! ?

Seriously, I am sure anyone who does want a ticket will now be able to get one, whatever their purchase history. Might help the East Anglian Ram contingent,  of whom there are quite a few on here.

Unfortunately I now won't be able to go, but I'm sure a lot of the others this way will still make it.

It's so frustrating when Sky do this, especially when it's the only game within an hour radius of me!

  3. A few of us coming into Liverpool street are meeting up at Hamilton Hall with the earliest arriving about 11.30am. If anyone on our line or around that area fancies meeting up for a couple of pints then please feel free to join ?

Let me know if this happens again before the end of the season please.

It would be good to meet some fellow rams fans!!

I believe a few of us are looking to get the train down to QPR together for our next group game. If you haven’t ticked that one off yet, it’d be great for you to join us?

  5. A few of us are heading to the Bricklayers pub in Colchester near the train station to watch the Cardiff match tomorrow night. If you are local and fancy watching with some fellow Rams, please do join us ? ?

These are two huge games now after a couple of disappointing results. Sing loud and proud those that are making the trip to Wales won’t you!

Only just seen this thread. Sorry. I'd be interested in future home or away trips. I'm Stowmarket based.

Ah great. We’ll do more and a few guys already from Stow so that’ll work well. I’ll keep you updated with future plans

  7. Hi all. We now just have 3 seats remaining on the bus next weekend. If anyone has any change of plans and wants to get involved from our part of the country, please just let me know. It is down to around £40 per person now.

Final pickup points are Colchester, Ipswich, Stowmarket and Kettering.

Looking forward to this one. It’s set to be a huge game next week. We’ll be in full voice for it.

    Up the Rams! ?

  8. Hi all,

Just a quick update, we have now booked up our first bus trip up to Pride Park for the game against Peterborough on 19th Feb as a group.

We do have 5 spare seats on the bus, so if anyone that has seen the thread has been unable to commit to joining but wants to join us nearer the time, please just let me know. We have pick ups booked in at Colchester, Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds and the cost is £45 each.

Thank you to everyone that has responded and that has spread the word to fellow Rams living in this part of the country ?

I would love to do this if it were a bit further afield. However Peterborough is just up the road for me. So I’d just drive up there if I wanted tbh.

I’m Cambridge (I live about 2 miles from the A14) so if you go anywhere north I’m on the way.

This is the home game Malty so we are off to Pride Park. We can look to make a stop at Cambridge if you’d like to get involved?

Hi, can you add me to the list please, Stowmarket pick up would be good for me but could possibly be flexible on that. I may be able to talk a couple of others into going. How would we go about getting tickets as a group.

That’s great. I’ll message you as I’m going to set up a WhatsApp when I have confirms back from people.

RE: Tickets, I think realistically we will all have to log on and buy our own but happy to put seat details etc here if people all want to sit together. Alternatively some may have other preferences on where to sit in the ground/meet up with people there (we tend to sit in the East stand).

If anyone else would like to join please let me know as we are finalising numbers to see whether we can get this thing off the ground!

    Thanks all

Hi East Anglian ram sorry mate I have just checked the date for the Peterborough game and I've a family do on that day, but if it is doable and you do another trip I'd be interested.

Ok thanks for letting me know

If you’re picking up at Colchester, then copdock, you’d be going down the A14 past bury so it’d be great if I could get picked up there. In response to I-ram, I moved to Suffolk from the midlands 3 years ago and I can confirm that I have now grown an extra digit on each hand, and I rather like it ?

That’s fine and on the list of locations I’m asking for quotes on. Should have them in this week ?

You might be able to get a coach for a similar amount, and be able to spread out a bit!

Andif you get extra passengers once it's been booked, the price comes down more.

Cheers Ken. Getting quotes at the moment for differing numbers, so will see what they all come in at.

  14. Just a quick update - we are up to 8 plus a few maybe's that are looking to let me know whether they can make it. I'm going to contact transport companies over the next week or so and get some revised quotes for travel. If anyone else can join for the Peterborough game on the 19th Feb, please DM me and I will add you to the list. If all looks feasible price-wise I'll message anyone that has said that they are interested and set up a WhatsApp group to confirm prices and final numbers. I will look to do this around the first week of Feb so that everyone knows if they can definitely come or not ?

Also if any of those responded would like more than one seat for friends/family then please let me know as at the moment I am assuming all those that have said yes are needing one seat only.

Match tickets at Pride Park are only £20 at the moment so get involved if you can. Currently we have stops at Colchester and Copdock. If numbers increase and those additional fans would like stops in Bury/Cambridge then we can add those in but I'm conscious that this may increase the quotes, so I won't request that unless needed, but let me know!

I tell you what, and I know I’m getting all unnecessarily excited, but how much do you all love this side? 3 wins in a row with a team cobbled together of freebies, youth and experience. We’ve had a Lot more talented teams show nowhere near this level of fight or effort. I wanna see them in the flesh, and I wanna sing very loudly, so come on east anglia, let’s get it on!

I agree. Great to see a team rather than 11 individuals and together they are already achieving more than we all thought possible. If we even come close to staying up then it is something very special. If we do pull it off then perhaps we’ll upgrade this mini bus idea to an open topper ?

I generally don’t do much jan or feb, so should be ok for by most dates. My names jamie btw!

Great, thanks Jamie. A couple of people on Twitter have said that they are interested too so we are getting there slowly! Still hopeful ??

    Hi EastAnglianRam,

I'm Ipswich-based so could be interested. Would depend on the date though.

If not that then an away game around here (next season might be better!) or meet up for a beer or two over a tv game.

    ?

That’s great Rob. We are looking at the Peterborough game, does that work for you (19/2)?

Looking like a few games in the area next season to go to, but would be nice to get a few of us locally to meet up and go to PP also ?
