  1. So, you believe people have come to their opinions because we lost? I have come to mine after watching last season and this, all the home games and quite a few away. Also by listening to what a broad range of people have had to say about it. From my own assessment of our recruitment over 3 transfer windows which I think Warne is largely, if not completely responsible for. From seeing how he utilises the academy. From listening to him.
  2. But we won't, you know that. Bradley, Cashin and Nelson will all play barring injury in all remaining games. Smith will play ahead of Thompson or Fornah
  3. I'm not trying to speak for everyone and of course they are entitled to their opinions. I just think making out that there is some sort of 'adults in the room' perspective on this has worn very thin
  4. You need to tell your son that the San Siro isn't in Spain Dave, but I agree with your other comments!
  5. Happy clapper and the usual people liking your post. Wake up and smell the coffee all of you
  6. My son asked me the other day which players we have sold that have annoyed me the most. I had to think about it for a bit. Looking back over the years, Archie Gemmill to Forest came to mind. I was sad to see Tommy Johnson go and really disappointed when we had to let Mark Wright and Dean Saunders go. But on balance they didn't upset and frustrate me as much as Tom Huddlestone and Omari Kellyman. There is nothing worse than being literally [mod removed] by a big club when we are on the floor as we are now. To see those players go on and flourish when we have had them taken off us for peanuts is much worse than losing a favourite senior player for a good fee
  7. I bet they are being closely watched by clubs higher up the food chain(at the moment)unfortunately. I guess that's better than not being watched though
  8. Yeah and he lets us know about it often enough. I just think he's a bit of an old fart. I think Malcolm Christie is great though
  9. It’s part of a deliberate charm offensive. He was on the pitch before the Stevenage game clapping all the stands. Somebody has had a word
  10. I think Eric has become as big a dinosaur as Ian Hall was to be honest.
  11. On your last line, lets hope so. As it is someone has clearly told him to try and make friends with the fans hence the very obvious coming out before games and applauding stuff. He virtually did a tour of the stadium last home game. Maybe someone thinks that will go down better than sarcastic remarks
  12. I don't think he worries about that over much.
  13. Yeah totally agree with him, as do a lot of people. Far more than you would expect when a team is second in the table
  14. I would bet my house on Bradley playing and it being a back 3. Warne has finally got his justification for sticking with that so that’s the way we are going to play for the rest of the season. I suspect that having been rested Hourihane will return. I think Sibley might start ahead of Wilson up front and Nyambe, despite being a much inferior wing back to Wilson will nevertheless be preferred because he is a better defender, so it will be Wildsmith Nyambe Nelson Bradley Cashin Elder Bird Adams. Hourihane NML. Sibley Wilson and Gayle will come off the bench at some point as may Smith
  15. I will renew of course. Moaning and groaning about the football is still better than nothing!
  16. When you are a top, top side like Wednesday you can afford to do things like that
  17. We just need someone to come in and help out for a couple of months. We aren't in a position to be too choosy about it
  18. If he goes in the summer it will be with all of our blessing. Good luck to him if he gets offered a good end of career pay day in the states
  19. Bet he plays tomorrow. On the picture, the mystery player who is deliberately hiding has much chunkier arms and legs than Max Bird
  20. My comment was in response to someone who was arguing that Ferguson, Guardiola or Klopp wouldn't do any better than Warne with this lot buddy. I think they would. Yes we are second etc but those managers and coaches would have us many points clear at the top is my opinion. Thats not knocking Warne at all
  21. Nonsense. We have some good players. A top manager would have us really flying
  22. I think you are right. I suppose we have to remember how long Ipswich and Sunderland - and others - took to get out of this division. IF we get promotion this year, getting out in two seasons from the position we were in would be very good going
