  1. What I can do is create a graphic that can be shared across social media. I will recover the dcfcfans Twitter/X account to share it on and hopefully spread the word. Once created I will upload into this topic so you all can share on your own accounts. I can also create a notice for the top of the forum for the minutes applause. As for the big screen, I think that's one for the SLO, I personally have no contact details for anyone at the club under this new ownership. With you being on the SCG with RamsTrust, might be worth dropping them a message through that. If I can do anything more, let me know.
  2. Just a couple of things to keep B4 in our memories on DCFC Fans. First is the topic title following the news of David Clowes takeover. With so many sayings, it was difficult to choose from, however this and the post itself means so much more. Especially the line about his Mum, football was not just a game to B4, it was life and death. @Mucker1884's words were utterly brilliant and a fitting tribute. They have been published on their own page which will always remain on the main menu. https://dcfcfans.uk/b4ev6is/ Needless to say, this topic will also remain pinned for the lifetime of this forum. @B4ev6is you are a DCFC Fans legend that will never be forgotten. x
  3. First and foremost, my thoughts are with Daniel's friends and family, I cannot imagine what they are going through right now. I heard the news last night and it came as a huge shock, B4 as we knew him so fondly by will be a huge loss to the forum. He was Mr Positivity, Derby County's biggest cheerleader, even during the bad times his positivity would shine through. I know his Dad was at the game today with a scarf on his seat, whilst we haven't closed the gap on Portsmouth in Daniel's final rallying call on this forum, I'm sure he will be over the moon with the 3 goals and 3 points today. DCFC Fans will be honouring Daniel in time to ensure he remains in our memories, we will also be contacting the club in due course to see what can be done during a game. Suggestions are welcomed as we all come to terms with the loss. Rest in peace Daniel. ❤️🐏
  4. Proper wrong'un, branston pickle yeah, but jam? 😩
  5. This is terrible. What are we meant to complain about tonight, even Collins has a brace, I mean come on, not giving us much to go on are they?
  6. What's the xS (expected signing) though? That's what I want to know
  7. How many years until humans are replaced with AI on VAR? You know it will happen, it's a matter of when not if.
  8. This isn't quite the same though is it. His trial was under a different owner, manager, coaches, academy staff the lot. If we did go on to sign him now, spending the money would be of no fault of the current owner or staff.
  9. They are thick. Simple as that.
  10. I want to know how you know his GCSE results, seems too daft to make up, so must be true yet....how? 😂
  11. Looks like you're trying take offence on behalf of the players without even knowing what's going on in there head. Without knowing Bird or McGoldrick personally, you are making some wild assumptions and connecting dots to suit this narrative where Paul Warne is this useless turnip that couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery. The Bird one is ridiculous, The McGoldrick one.....well he scored an awful lot of goals for someone that didn't like the manager. Yeah he left for Notts County, the club where he started his career at and spoke about wanting to finish his career there. Using him as a stick to beat Warne with, you're basically calling him a liar for his motivations in moving to Notts County. Which makes you no better than Warne and this accusation of fake injuries. The last line in your post is spot on though. "The best managers know how to use the microphone to motivate their men" Absolutely. Every player is different, some need criticism to start that fire in their belly, others need a cuddle and words of affirmation. I couldn't sit here and tell you what any of the players need, 1) I have never managed a team of footballers and 2) I don't know any of the players personally. I would imagine that would apply to most on here as well. It's ok to not like Warne's football, his tactics, the way he talks, the way he walks and the bobble hats, but come on, all this is scraping the barrel of hate for a guy based on....well nothing really.
  12. If we keep this topic going, we're only a page or two away from accusing Paul Warne of the JFK assassination, creating Covid and responsible for the price increase of Freddo bars.
  13. Sounds good. Problem is, I either a) Go by myself, which means using a train for both games which is around £30 a pop, plus potentially hotel for tonight depending when the last train is. or b) Bring the Mrs and a 2 and 3 year old, add the petrol money, bribes to get them to sit and watch the game the game without getting bored. or finally c) Just enjoy the 3 pints with the game on my phone?
  14. I take offence that they call it "Industrial language", I work in retail and can swear with the f****** best of them.
  15. Do you and @Mostyn6 wave at each other as you cross paths at 30,000ft?
  16. More prize money. More money on offer, they hope clubs take it more seriously
