Its like buying a second hand car..you know it will lose its value every year..thats why you have someting called depreciation..and in football terms, ( not the MM way of doing it), if you sign a player for £3m on a 3 year contract..his value depreciates by £1m each season...
-
I'd still have him back..better than all the rest so far mentioned!

Agree currently..although i hope he gets a better player for Collins
-
Add him to the 1st team squad when needed..he won't let them down!
-
I went for other option..Chris Martin..
But if we are spending money..Clarke Harris will get goals, so i'd have him.
-
I'd rather have Chris Martin...
-
...he was at Cheltenham..think he went to Charlton...???!!!🤣

Shame...my favourite player...and the 1 player i thought was most suited to 'Warneball'
-
Will be Bradley..in his interview he said he wanted to be lifting the Div 1 trophy at the end of the season

Bielik is on £20k per week
-
Bielik on £20k per week. £1m saving if we sell him!
Just hope we also get a big fee 🤞
-
Am i missing the point???
If we get £1m transfer fee, plus £1m wages ( £20k per week), thats £2m.
How much do we still owe Arsenal??
Surely we should have, at the very least, instigated a bidding war to cover what we owe!!!
Very poor negotiating in my book....
Hope its not still Stephen Pearce at the centre of it all!!??

Do you mean Rak-Sakyi at Charlton?
You’re going to have to give us a bit more of a clue regarding the Lincoln player. There are quite a few “guys” there. 😀
Sean Roughan..left back for Lincoln..NML was last seen in his back pocket!

Wouldn't mind that Sean Roughan from Lincoln, 19 year old can play LWB or LCB on a compensation fee and played nearly 40 games last season and he pocketed NML
Which is exactly what ive been saying since he destroyed NML at Pride Park!.. but, he has signed Callum Elder!
-
If we want to keep him..he costs £20k per week..basically £1m for the season...if we dont want to keep him, we need to sell him for as much as possible..not just to Birmingham because John Eustace likes him!
Lets face it, he is an International footballer and shouldn't be playing in League One!..as much as i would like him to stay.
-
What is Bielik's value currently for FFP purposes??...think he signed a 4 year contract and cost £8m..therefore depreciating by £2m per year leaves his value on the accounts at £2m..so if we sell for anything less, that would represent a loss on our accounts which counts towards our FFP. It would also represent really bad business..but then we are used to that!
-
Left back from Lincoln City, Sean Roughan...is Mendez - Laing still in his pocket??
Seriously that young lad was brilliant against us at Pride Park, i'd be signing him!
-
We have a small group to pick from, and most don't get a rest...its starting to show...and highlights the 'Warne way of high intensity'...like Bielsa...players run out of steam in the latter stages of the season.
Luckily we have McGoldrick, and his ability masks others deficiencies.
Regardless of which division we are in next season, i expect many of this seasons' squad will be replaced with more athletic and durable players, aged between 22 and 29!

Everyone sat near me all commented, firstly that the ref was a woman, and later how decent she was..i added, certainly a big improvement on the standard of referees we normally get this season!
She did get the 2 decisions wrong..a second yellow for handball, and the stopping the game when it wasn't a head injury..but apart from that, i thought she was very good.
