North are nearly the perfect brewery, the Herzog and Sputnick are two of my favourites. They have some really good small bars in and around the Leeds-Bradford area that are worth a visit, especially the one at Otley.

Boiled oxtail, with potatoes and carrots. Usually a house favorite, it needs to be boiled for at least 3 hours, but 4 are preferable. This batch was not fresh, in fact it was close to being rotten. Have to buy that stuff fresh, or at least freshly frozen and then it's really good food, the juice and the vegetables making it a soup dish kind of meal. For those on a budget, it's cheap beef, because of the time it takes to prepare. Going hungry to bed tonight and it will do me good, as i need to lose quite a few kilos. i finished the rum as compensation though.

Chicken Cordon Bleu, Hasselback potatoes and haricots cuits au four.
I thought it was a wierd combo too, it was only when I served up the boss pointed out she'd wanted green beans, not baked!

Samichlaus Classic for me today, had it once before in 2016, Eddie's posts reminded me it existed but also informed me there was more than one version.
Could only get hold of the classic, £5.95 from suds and soda which isn't too far over the odds tbf.
Yep, a lovely sweet, sticky, boozy doppelbock worth savouring.

Try the Samichlaus Schwarzes.
I picked 3 up from BeersOfEurope the other day, but be warned. They seem to disappear very quickly. Two appear to have evaporated already.

I'm laid up with a bad knee so the lad is cooking. After giving the instructions on how to make cheese on toast 3 or times, he took 30 minutes to bake (not grill) 2 slices of cheese on toast.
Help.

Tiny sweet allotment grown punches of flavour, strawberries and cream, all washed down with a glass of local sweet cider.
