I agree, has always been the traditional sock for me from the cup final through to the late 60’s and then again with the last decent kit we had the Jim Smith era Puma kit. The blue and white kit with the flappy collar was ok at the time but then again so were kipper ties, big lapels and platforms.

P.S. I used to have the keepers shirt from the kit before this (as worn by Les Green) must search the loft to see if it’s still there.

Holy cow ! I never thought that the day would arrive when my own personal holy grail of Derby County shirts made its way into my collection, 1982 player worn Patrick shirt, Christmas has certainly arrived early, massive thanks to my old mate Dave (no not him) for making this happen !
What a fantastic thing to own and treasure !
