You can almost feel the hairs on the back of your neck start to tingle !!!

I'm normally the sceptical  one. 
Going on a bike ride now mate but  I'm more optimistic now than I was at the start of the season .
Good conversation though. 

My point is rose tinted glasses as regards McClaren days at Derby. 
Yes the  first season was good up to Wembley .
After that Derby were distinctly average with expensive loans such as Lingard etc 
This season we are in transition with Pearson and Powell searching  for their  best team and performances .
5 games have been tough against Brighton and Villa at home both draws but what would we expect I'd say that's what we would expect. 
Away games against  newly promoted teams in Burton and Barnsley which we lost not so good but we did beat Preston away which was welcome. 
Beat Grimsby and Carlisle in the Cup better than previous seasons.  
I think we are just about on track with new signings yet to  have an impact in Wilson and Vydra. 
Hopefully more signings to come to improve the team tomorrow. 

The inference is it's all gone wrong. 
Lets just consider for one moment that we might do well this season. We might do great and even get promoted.

as the person who started the thread, within a few days I was feeling that much better, that I started to feel guilty, like an attention seeker, which then made me feel bad again and worried what people think about me. 
I think a lot is to do with realisation. Once I realised that I shouldn't care, and that only a few people on this forum have met me, that feeling subsided, but I still wondered if I'd stirred up emotion in some people.
Reality is, this forum is awesome and made me feel a hell of a lot better about life, it's also pointed out something that I hadn't realised, my misery or low feeling got worse as my exercise decreased. Like I say, realisation is a massive thing.
Friends made me involved in things over the break, so I didn't have much time to wallow in self pity.
