I would be delighted to be Pro Warne. But since we beat Morecambe 5-0 at the start of February we have lost 11 out of 30. And thats with a full pre season and transfer summer sandwiched in between!! I dont see any improvements...I dont see any shape or pattern of play. Its the most bored ive been watching Derby. Take away Peterborough and Blackpool away and its been absolutely dreadful. Beating Exeter wont do anything for me because i know theres a lacklustre performance just round the corner. 

Personally I’m still in the pro-Warne camp.
We will win 3-0 on Tuesday and the fans will be singing Warne’s name for the right reasons again.

Beating Exeter on Tuesday night will have absolutely no effect on me. Warne is not the future of Derby County. Clowes's idea is collapsing infront of our eyes. Since February we have played well at Peterborough and Blackpool. Thats it. Ive no clue what Warne is all about tactically. I see players playing like they are unhappy. This squad is good enough. Time to go for Warne. 

Clowes has a big decision. Warne is a dead man walking with the fans, for me the tide has turned and unless he pulls a rabbit out the hat the inconsistent boring football will continue to harvest the toxic atmosphere.
But can Clowes afford to sack Warne? And if he can then surely the next appointment has to be the right one. Big pressure all of a sudden. 
 
I’d go Warnock and make this season a free hit. Then do some serious work getting a DoF in and lining up a ‘long term successor’. 
 
Think to go balls deep in the ‘long term’ option now would be one hell of a risk. 
 
This could all be nonsense though cus if we can’t afford to get rid then this season will just be a very messy, depressing affair.

I do not buy that at all.
Firstly, we have no idea what Warne and his staff are on.
Secondly, it's Warne who'd be sacked. If the rest of the staff want to walk too, that's another conversation.
Thirdly, none of us have any idea of what our budget is. We can speculate, but all people ever do when they do that is warp whatever budget they pulled out of their bum to further their own argument.
Fourthly, he's not been sacked, no compensation package has been agreed, so how can we possibly know if we can afford it. What if it's his remaining contract, divided in three and paid in installments over 3 years? Can we afford that?
It's absolute nonsense to pretend that we can't afford to sack him, when none of us have the faintest idea of the budget outside of the boardroom. Clowes and Pearce aren't stupid. They'll have an escape plan, budgets put aside, ways to square a sacking on the books if needed.
