Can’t blame PW for that and I’m not his biggest fan.
Absolute hot potato and no composure stuff from the players tonight.
Headless chickens.

All will be told when ST sales are at an all time low.
He is not the right manager for Derby. Never has been and never will be.
Bang on about 2nd all you like, thats just an anomaly at this point. We’ll finish about 4th/5th and then see our backsides in the POFFs when the going gets tough.

In a time-sensitive situation, absolutely. In ordinary circumstances, absolutely not.
There must be some room for manoeuvre though? Warne spent the last few days sniffing around Sheffield Wednesday for 2 ageing strikers.
You’re telling me there wasn’t anyone available from the PL academies down to League 2 with Scotland in between?
I get the frustrations at Pearce but Warne for me is a stubborn mule when it comes to recruiting and now it’s bitten us big time.

The club and Warne said last January was a mistake, well this is worse. You fear for Collo. Even if he is injury/suspension free he is going to be shagged.

Paul Warne’s Derby County. I’m not sure what you are expecting? Prob scrape a win here and get beat at Charlton.
Rinse and repeat and it won’t change.
-
He’s either gone in the summer if we don’t go up or gone by Christmas.
To be honest, even if we managed to get promoted this season, I’d thank him and still move him aside.
He really isn’t all that. I think Barker is probably the tactics guy and Warne is just a quirky mouthpiece.
Can’t imagine any of the senior players buying into PW at all.

Just no need to overthink it.
Queen - We Will Rock You (BBG style). Done.
And for the love of god, I'd rather have silence than Mr Brightside.

Really sad news. Best wishes to his family. 🐏❤️

What was said, are you able to summarise?
Was good, really worth a listen back on BBC Sounds.
Colin Gibson was in disbelief over Warne’s post match interview. Really don’t think that Gibson is keen on Warne, IMO.
The thing I found most interesting was Steele saying he firmly believes Clowes will have told Warne that things must improve from now until January, despite the statement last Monday.

How are we going to fit the replay in meaning as we have postponed the Reading fixture? 2nd round matches are played around 2nd December. Surely the F.A. will have to force our hand to play this replay around 14/15th Nov.
Radio Derby said we’d be missing Washington, NML and Darren Robinson and it still goes ahead on 14th Nov.

The most harrowing thing is it’s Crewe’s second string v Derby’s first eleven from Tuesday.
Utter rubbish.
-
Just a bunch of flat track bullies with a bang average manager. When the going gets tough, they don’t want to know. Won’t change.

We having a sweepstake on how many minutes Brown will get regardless of score?
32 seconds.

Maybe they've been screening the opinion of the callers before putting them on air? No Derby fan I know (as in personally know) wants Warne to stay 🤷♂️
Have this image of a Rory Bremner type bloke sat in an office at Radio Derby just flogging pro-Warne propaganda but in different voices.

Struggle to see how he gets till January when we are most likely 13th, dumped out of the FA Cup by Crewe and about 12 points off the poffs.
Bums on seats talk. It’s what got Nigel Clough the eventual boot.

I can see him staying and the players putting in a performance tomorrow.
Just to delay the inevitable.
He’s very jammy in the sense that he’s had lowly teams Exeter and Northampton at home in succession to paper over the cracks.

Eustace top of Bristol City’s list along with Rowett and Nathan Jones.

Eustace or Wilder get a better tune out of this squad.

Elaborate BT?

Nothing other to do than get Warne gone unless somehow he resigns.
It’s the absolute pits.

Absolutely dreadful. More chance of getting relegated than going up. Horrific.

Surely no one thought beating a horrific Exeter side meant a “corner was turned” ?

If Jake Buxton and Shaun Barker were not local lads, they would have both been long forgotten. Both bang average at best.
Mr Brightside (any version) is the worst song ever to get a football crowd going.
Warne will not last past Christmas. I don't think he is even that keen on managing us.
Don't buy the Clough would have got us promoted eventually line. He should have been sacked after the Crawley FA Cup debacle. We were simply wasting time with him by the end of his reign.
Rowett wasn't that bad a manager as some fans make out.
Lampard should have never played Mount away at Accrington Stanley on a turgid winter pitch. We lost him for a large chunk after that.
Richie Barker is the main man in our current set up. PW is just a very good mouthpiece/front guy.
