I think still start him but get him off a lot earlier. 55-60 minutes is enough, he looks knackered after that. With the amount of subs now I think you can afford to start a player or two who will definitely be coming off. I think Wilson is the best option to replace him with. He has always looked dangerous to me - think he will produce given the opportunity.

Manchester: Tram to Bury. Uber from there.
Is that route better somehow for reaching the stadium? Distance/price wise may as well Uber directly there from Manc.

2hr trip even from Manchester - should be 45 mins. Was supposed to be one of my easiest away days 😔

First in person game of the season for me. We're gonna win this one, I can feel it.

Assuming I watching via RamsTV that week, I would have both on and allow my eyes to be drawn to the more entertaining/suspenseful game. Unless the game was wrapped up, I would expect the England game to win out given the knockout format.

Sincere thanks for the efforts Liam. Conducted himself very admirably throughout. I hope he does well whatever and wherever he goes next. I think him leaving may be best for him. Whilst he hasn't blown anyone away here, he's probably done enough to merit a role somewhere else in L2/L1 as the main man. Better than another subordinate role like he's already had under Cocu and Rooney surely.

We're not going to play many teams with crests as bad as Lincoln's - need to make this count.

McGoldrick deservedly starts at the expense of Sibley, who deserved to start. Shame for Sibbers but shows what a good position we are in really.
I sense a win today. 2-0 I reckon. Collins to score with a richochet off his ankle.

We've brought in some players with serious quality and retained Bird, Sibley and Knight, all whilst working within a EFL business plan. We now have a team capable of competing at the top end of the table, which is ridiculous given where we were a few months ago. That said, the need for another RB was clear so it 'only' gets a 9/10 from me. I'm absolutely loving this season to be honest.

Not really seen many credible links for first team strikers/rightbacks. If anything does happen today, its going to catch us by suprise I think.

Just had a quick look at the format and rules for this competition (which, like many Derby fans I imagine, I have no familiarity with). Thing that caught my eye was that draws in the group stages go straight to penalties - the winner receives two points and the loser one. Quite like that rule!
Anyway, we might as well go for this - by which I mean play above the bare minimum number of first teamers. We can worry about fixture congestion and injury pileup later - we'll be out some of these cups soon anyway I'm sure. I think Collins has played well so far, but getting a goal always helps and this is an opportunity for an 'easy' one.

Great game and great result. No better way to win a game than late on! We could have been out of sight much earlier, but equally they could have scored from one of those chances that we kept making for them. Rosenoir's substitutes all excellent - sign of a good manager.

Excited for this one! First home game I've been to since the home game against Peterborough last season. The joys of not living in your clubs' town... Would be a great result to get a win against one of the better teams in the division.

Very strong line up really. Hopefully we can get ahead and get the youngsters on later in the game.
