  1. Another positive from yesterday was the added entertainment !! No sadly I do not mean the football, but the WWE style multiple grappling and head locks seen at every corner. I think yesterday was the 'best' we have seen yet and totally unpunished !!
  2. B4 played a blinder with the results last night. Keep it up mate !! 👍
  3. Hi Mozza. I think you have duplicated the 1 point and 2 point lists.
  4. 31Vickers 6. No chance with the goal. 2Wilson 6. At least attacked in first half. Tired second. 5Bradley 6. Did nothing wrong as late sub. 35Nelson 6. Steady without dominating. 6Cashin 4. Not sure what has happened to Cash the last two games. Disappointing. 20Elder 8. MoM by some distance. Only one to take any credit. 4Hourihane 5. Hit post but looked tired. 23Ward 5. Does not inspire confidence. 8Bird 4. Really need more from him. 7Barkhuizen 5. Thought he showed some energy first half but faded. 27Blackett-Taylor 5. Showed nothing. Had one effort but should have got it on target. 16Thompson 6. As usual ran around a lot but to little effect. 17Sibley 4. Made no impact from subs bench - yet again. 11Méndez-Laing 5. Disappointing by his own standards. Looked jaded. 9Collins 4. Never in the game. Hardly touched the ball. 19John-Jules 4. Missed good headed chance. No impact as Sub. Rams TV. Too many players well below accepted levels. Team looked tired/jaded. Reading too physical for us and the Ref let a lot of fouls go unpunished. Concerning performance.
  5. If only, but let's be honest that is not the 'Derby way' is it ?? Burton will not come and attack. As Bradley said last week other teams will have seen how the likes of Bradford and Wycombe have got results and will have every body behind the ball hoping to catch us on the break. Indeed with the next few matches against lower teams I think we are in for a tough time at home. Probably quite boring 'Warneball' style entertainment the doubters could have a field day. Do we have the necessary personnel to break such teams down? Potentially yes but we do seem to struggle, which I think makes the influx of a couple of quality players like those currently mentioned essential. Let's be positive however and hope for an early Derby goal and that we can consolidate on the excellent position we are now in 🤞🤞
  6. Just a word for Fozzie. Thought he was outstanding first half in particular. Unlucky with the header. Great positioning for his goal.
  7. Well for us 'oldies' she may have well been Raquel Welch for the number of boobs she made first half. Totally spoiled the game.
  8. I think you could count a lot of us in. Anything planned. Flange / charity etc ?
  9. 1Wildsmith 7 Little to do but thought his distribution was good. + 2 good free kicks 24Nyambe 7.5 Solid performance 5Bradley 6 Did nothing wrong !! 35Nelson 8 Excellent 6Cashin 8 Excellent. Cash's best game for a while. (but should have scored) 3Forsyth 9 My MoM. Excellent defending. Good goal and assist. 4Hourihane 8 Thought he controlled the midfield especially second half. 7Barkhuizen 7 Had a very good game but again missed some good chances. 17Sibley 6 Little time to make an impression but did hit the bar. 12Smith 7 Did OK 8Bird 🦅 7 Actually thought he was fairly anonymous especially first half. 11Méndez-Laing 8 Continued his purple patch despite taking a knock first half. 2Wilson 8 Excellent when came on. Such a refreshing type of player. 9Collins 8.5 Probably his most effective game. Scored 2 and led the line well. ATG
  10. I think you were right B4. After todays performance and tonights devastating news with you to guide us from above, Pompey be scared be very scared!! As always B4 what a great thread for a finale!! The Derby Way !! RIP 🖤
  11. Just home and logged on to this forum on a high only to read this devastating news. Totally gutted. Driving home I had been wondering 'where did that performance come from?' now it is obvious!! B4 inspired the best performance of the season. He was in that changing room, he gave the prematch talk. Never had the privilege to meet you Daniel but what an inspiration, never to be forgotten. Condolences to his family and many friends. RIP Daniel you are irreplaceable !!
  12. 1Wildsmith 7 Despite our dominance he made several good saves. 24Nyambe 5 Disappointing. 17Sibley 6 Assist despite little time on pitch 35Nelson 6 Not his best performance 5Bradley 5 Disappointing. Expected him to dominate but at fault for second goal. 6Cashin 6 Better than Bradley 3Forsyth 5 Another defender who disappointed and not up to his usual standard. 2Wilson 7.5 Good impact from subs bench. Should have been bought on earlier. 4Hourihane 7 Good goal. Came to life when subs came on. 12Smith 5.5 Obviously told to get forward but to little effect. 7Barkhuizen 6 Looked our most likely forward to score first half but missed several good chances. 20Ward 6 Looked lively when came on. Put in several good crosses. 8Bird 5.5 As with Smith. Little effect on midfield. 11Méndez-Laing 8 Match winner. 14Washington 5.5 No proper service. Therefore had little effect. 9Collins 6 Unlucky with offside goal which he took well but otherwise had little effect.
  13. Mentioned this game before, but where it all began for me. My first ever Derby game was a cup tie v Preston January 1959. 2 - 2 on the snowy BBG. The picture below is Jack Parry scoring and hangs in a corridor at Pride Park.
  14. January 1971. Derby 2 Wolves 1 Super atmosphere, the mud, that pitch and a last minute winner. Can still see John O'Hare cheesing the ball in !!
