Stimacked
New Zealand U17's captain at the U17 World Cup in Mexico. He is now 18. He is a central defender. He was on trial with us during the spring. Started playing against adults as a 15 year old for Waitakere United in New Zealand. He was unlucky and did his knee in during the trial in January. ACL I think so maybe Achilees cruciate Ligamants. Sounds like. Seems like Derby may have done the rehab work for him as he stayed over here most of this year. He is still at Derby so Clough must rate him. Maybe still injured. He is mates with a few of the 2nd year scholars. Found a couple of New Zealand footie blogs saying he was with us.

Albert
We are hearing literally nothing about Caton either, but he's apparently with us too. Considering that a young Kiwi could come back to New Zealand or Australia and get some damn decent treatment there, I doubt we'd keep him around unless we saw something in him to keep him around. Waitakere United and the Kiwi leagues are a bit... uhh... well, not that great, think about Blue Square Premier level (they are semi professional), but still playing at that kind of level against adults at 15 sounds pretty decent. A quick look on the [url=http://www.yellowfever.co.nz]Yellow Fever website (A Kiwi supporters group) doesn't really seem to mention anything beyond his trial with us. He hasn't been in any pre season photos, so he's not fit and training with the first team even if he was here. How do you know that he stayed over here most of the year? Albert
He's still listed in Waitakere's first team page on their [url=http://www.waitakereunited.co.nz/football_profile_adams_2011.html]website. He's not listed on their wikipedia page anymore though, I'll see if I can find anything out. Edit: Its worth pointing out that he trialled with Birmingham 2 years ago and was expected by some to sign with them then...
Stimacked
He was here a couple of days ago. Facebook. Went back to NZ in May and then came straight back to Derby. Think he may well be still doing rehab. Read it can take 6 to 9 months to recover.
Albert
Good luck to the lad, from what I can find on him he looks a decent young player, a bad injury like that is always a worry though, hope it doesn't hurt his career overall.

Ambitious
Incredible player with an unbelievable future ahead of him.... no I haven't seen him play just making assumptions, put him next to hughes or bennett and if he doesn't look out of place, sign him! Albert
DET does say "One or two trialists" If he did his ACL he's almost certainly not fit right now and wouldn't be for some time. The two trialists are Caton and Gjokaj, who apparently did well yesterday.
Stimacked
Seems like he recovered from the injury. Came on as a sub in the game against Belper. Another one for the U21 squad then.
Albert
That's fantastic news, I've heard good things about him while in Australia. It seems that we will have a whole lot of depth in that area if things go well for the kid. Good luck to him!
Albert
I know he came off the bench a couple of times for the reserves in the friendlies recently, but does anyone know what's happening with this kid? Is he still at the club?

Albert
No idea Albert, don't think he played the Matlock game either. He did play in the last one if I remember correctly, only as a late sub. Maybe he's still getting back after that long injury and we might play him in the youth teams early in the season rather than risk him now. Stimacked
Appears as though he has been offered a place in the Rams U21 team. Would explain why Galinski has been let go to Corby for a loan. Expect he may appear in the U21 team on Saturday.

Adams, 18, suffered a blow last year when seriously injuring a knee while on trial at Derby but impressed club officials enough to get another chance. His immediate goal will be to break into the first team at Derby, who are managed by former England international and Liverpool midfielder Nigel Clough.
