Take it Walker at left back? Rather have a natural left back Ashley Cole(as much as I hate him.

shi-zer , i meant to put Cole in but was think about Jones at CB at the time , so Walker at RB , Cole at LB

My effort...

GK - Joe Hart - 8/10 - good solid keeper, however he is massively over-rated more recently

LB - A.Cole - 7/10 - still our best left back, not as good as once was... still not as bad as the others.

RB - K Walker - 7/10 - stepped up this season, deserves this place.

CB - Phil Jones - 7/10 - a very good young player, still not amazing but his growing.

CB - John Terry - 7/10 - same as cole, should be in the team on merit, Lescott has done well this season however.

RM - Ashley Young - 6/10 - decent enough, bad press recently but still a good player.

LM - Adam Johnson - 7/10 - most under-rated player for me, looks class when ever he gets his chance.

CM - Scott Parker - 4/10 - vastly over-rated, not a top player.. not even close but better than barry 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

CM - Steven Gerrard - 7/10 - on his day.... 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

AM - Frank Lampard - 8/10 - scored more than any other midfielder in the premiership again this season, is an absolute must!

ST - Daniel Sturridge - 6/10 - scores goals, sometimes... better option than the rest need rooney back really.

all in all... god help English football 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

We have 3 world class players, Hart, Cole and Rooney, one of them has got himself suspended for the first couple of games, the other two are the first names on the team sheet. The rest are much of a muchness, you can just throw any of the rest of the squad into the remaining positions and thats as good as it gets.

Then there are so many who are miles away from being world class, wellbeck, walker, lampard, gerrard, terry, jones etc etc etc etc.

How anyone can deny Ashley Cole's ability is beyond me. He is outstanding.

Gk: Joe Hart - Obvious.

DR: Kyle Walker comfortably edges out Richards & Johnson.

DL: Ashley Cole - Obvious (to me anyway) - Baines is an excellent back-up.

DC (x2): Gary Cahill, Phil Jones & Phil Jagielka should be there abouts. John Terry is our leader, that diving header block at the World Cup tells me everything I need to know about his passion to win for England.

(Central Defence is clearly our most debatable area)

MR: Theo Walcott or Aaron Lennon, I hope SWP is nowhere near the f**king squad.

ML: Adam Johnson is special, but is he in form?

MC: Frank Lampard is streets ahead of Steven Gerrard.

MC: Jack Wilshere or James Milner (for workrate)

ST: If we are still in it when Wayne Rooney returns, he will have a point to prove (especially with Utd not winning anything).

ST: I prefer Sturridge to Wellbeck, Crouch is an excellent player, his goal record is unquestionable. Defoe has barely played for Spurs, and is still their top scorer (or was). I think that would be my 5, I can't see a way to shoehorn the £35m superstar in there.

GK - Hart - banter keeper

DR - Richards- played for the best team in the PL

DC - Cahill - quality at Bolton and stepped up at Chelsea

DC - Terry - an idiot but better than others

DL - Cole - one of the better left backs in the Europe

CM - Stevie G - quality

DM - Scott Parker - good season

CM - Lampard - quality

AMR - Young - diving **** but nass player

AML - A.Johnson/Chamberlain - both quality when they play

ST - Carrol then rooney - Carrol just needs to play football, do the talking on the pitch
