adamD
Nigel is a lot of things but not spineless, with the amount of players that go if their not up 2 it
Guest
I think he is spineless when it comes to dealing with the board. He has given veiled hints many a time but has never had the courage to stand up and state we need more money for the playing staff.

Just wondering because that would help explain all the negative decision making they make! Stay positive! It might not be as bad as you think. Even if Shackell goes I trust Nige to bring in a decent replacement.
-JW-
More from Bloomfield. Lee Croft going to Oldham on season-long loan. Jason Shackell stays at Derby for now despite reports to the contrary. Burnley still keen tho

We wonder if he'll end up in a downward spiral, finally ending up drinking cider in the park. Then we'll win our first 4 games and we'll all be talking promotion. Then we'll lose 6 and it'll be relegation certainty. Then we'll finish somewhere mid table.
Day
Does this mean Young Ram is staying for now as well then? wish Shackell would hurry up and go 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons//sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I post a lot at virtually all times that is why my post count is 4th out of over 2,000 people. If Shackell goes then we are in for problems in my view this is my view and I stand by it. Ramarena
Simply suggesting that maybe you need to use a different yardstick... comparing ANY championship team to the best team in the world is utterly ridiculous... No you just misinterpreted. I don't expect brilliant football from Derby in their current situation. Hence why I said Derby's football is mediocre. It's about where it should be. blackNwhites
Selling Shackell doesn't mean the world is about to end. Disappointing if it happens but £2m could be reinvested with 3 or 4 players (2 CB's).
