I have no problems at all with people who like to jump up and down and sing.. No problems whatsoever..

I just find it strange how people can knock support by calling it '****' just because they don't sing.

It's like an indirect insult at me, basically I'm being called a **** supporter because I prefer to sit there and just enjoy the game without having to sing or shout.. Like I said, if you do it, great good for you, but why knock someone (or a group of fans) that don't?

There's a difference between having 'good vocal support' and 'good support'.. Brum aren't **** supporters just because they don't sing. Nor are any of you good supporters because you do sing.

Bris very often you make valid points but this is ridiculous.

Showing support means helping people, willing them on, encouraging etc.

How is simply sitting there watching classed as support? Theres more to support than paying money.

If you go to the cinema do you think you're supporting the actors?

If i was going to Spurs v Man U does that mean i'm supporting one of the teams just by sitting and watching?

Supporting and spectating are two totally different things - I sing, shout, stand when I feel like it, but I understand that some people go to football. Some people are less passionate about the team itself and go purely because it's a game of football locally to them. Nothing wrong with either.

This is why 'areas' like SE corner (hopefully soon South Stand) work well, because people with the same interest in going to the match are together. The people that sit in the West Stand, I'm sure, have just as much interest in the game, just not as much interest in shouting about it.

No, but they'll bloody moan about it.

Sorry if I came across as disrespecting the spectators. Really hope that the supporters get their own end, it is our stadium after all and surely spectators can see that supporters definitely help push the team along.

In fairness, there's enough moaners in SE Corner!

I'm sure Nick would have sorted them out. He's rough as owt, just ask the Blackpool stewards..

Cannot wait to formally introduce myself to the Blackpool owner on Tuesday evening. Little does he know I am on the same table as him for the sit down pre match meal. Now that would be a story to tell.................. May as well add to the topic!

Brit - really couldn't believe your post when I read it but your entitled to your opinion........

Yes the support was very good, especially in the second half, if only like this every away game let me tell you!!

Don't really want to go off topic but 1500 behind a goal made a difference yesterday, for those asking this could be the South Stand, maybe with more numbers. What noise do you think will be made then?

This is why I am passionate about trying to change Pride Park. I think it will be for the better!

If you haven't yet signed, please please consider and do sign!

Didn't go, couldn't be arsed, and I am on deaths door currently, and to be honest it didn't come across that well on the stream I was watching it on.

All reports say it was only behind Forest and Peterborough though for noise, so maybe the microphones were poorly placed/noise doesn't travel well at St Andrews?

Glad to see 95% stood as well - always helps and looks way better.

Disappointing numbers, but quality over quantity any day of the week. Fair play to all involved.

Birmingham's support ain't **** though - in the top 3 to come to Pride Park this season and they always travel pretty well.

The implication that people that do not sing and constantly shout are not as good supporters is ridiculous.

I do not and will not stand up during the match. Some people occasionally pick up on this and have a dig. They get a flurry of four letter words back at them.

Very mature, I suppose.
