DerbyshireFox
nice way to repay hull 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> hull and Leicester are similar sizes in terms of club except in money terms so that is very opportunistic of him, hopefully he will fail. No Hull and Leicester a totally different! 10 or so years ago, they were a fourth tier club. While Leicester think they're much bigger than they are, they've always been above average in terms of size. Yes Crap appointment, loads of loyalty shown from him, as expected.....money continues to rip apart football A sideways step at best for Pearson, and a definite backwards step for Lester. Mickey mouse club. For someone who doesnt care about Leicester, you seem to spend a lot of energy having a go at us. Didn't someone say dour manager? Aren't you managed by Nigel Clough? Pot kettle black sir! Thats what i thought. Alex W
I think it's very disrespectful what he has done to Hull, and hopefully they smash Leicester when they next play them, but it was his chance to get the job he wanted to do so all you can do is respect his decision. Still, not liking the fact he was given a chance on a bigger platform at Hull (at the tme) and this is how he repays them. Ah well, that's football. Duracell
the facilities are similar, they have a similar fan base, history is different but history quite frankly means nothing now is what counts. Now they are a similar sized club. Hull's fanbase would fall to back to 10k or lower the moment they went down to the third tier. Leicester have a loyal, traditional fanbase. Hull are just resonably well supported because they're the best club around, but Leicester have always been a yo-yo club at the higher end of the Football League. Going by your reckoning, Leiecester and Hull are also similar to us.

I don't think it would fall down to 10k, their promotion and following seasons has enticed a lot of fans to the club and they are probably there to stay, just like what we had under clough and taylor which triggered popularity, for that club to achieve that success is the equivalent. Our fanbase and same with Leicesters would go under 20k if we dropped into league 1, we average 25,000 now, i imagine it would fall down to 19-18 thousand. CumbrianRam
2003/04 when Hull had thier first season in the KC in the fourth tier thier average attendance was 16,846. 2007/08 when they got promoted they averaged 18,024, funnily enough 3 fewer than 2004/05 when they were in the third tier.
