are you psychic? who says he'll go, he might stay here his career who knows? if we keep him and get promoted next season why would he leave, he'll be playing in the PL where he belongs. if he turns into giles barnes, oh well one of lives regrets i say we keep him as long as possible not sell at the first chance.

No need to get narky with me. I've just read an article on Sky Sports that we would reject a bid higher than £10 million. Of course Will Hughes is an extremely talented player and we should do whatever we can to keep gold of him currently but if a big Premeir League club offered over £10 million I would snap their hands off because that money would do wonders investing in the squad provided Nigel guys well, Striker, LB, CB etc.

I think its dangerous just to shrugs your shoulders and say if he does become the next Giles Barnes 'Oh well' because we could have had the money. I certainly hope that doesn't happen with Will. Although Giles Barnes was ravaged by injury.

I just think it would take a ridiculous offer for us to prize Hughes away from Pride Park, but if a club like Manchester City made an offer that was so ridiculous say £12 million. I would take it.

Sam Rushes radio interview a couple of weeks ago on Radio Derby said that General Sports and Entertainment have put around £50 million into the club since they took over. Although of course most of that's gone to reduce the debt (That's now going up) we certainly haven't seen it in the squad because of all the cost cutting.

Sky Sources: Derby set to bid for Nottm Forest midfielder Lewis Mcgugan the day after tomorrow.

'The Day After Tomorrow' - possibly the most ridiculously ill-thought-out disaster movies of all time - rapidly superseded by the remake of 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' and the god-awful '2012'

Only Nigel Clough will only get about 2-3m to spend on players out of that 10m.

The rest will be in the Americans pocket.

Well, it is their club (the investors, not GSE) - they have put an awful lot into it.

Lets not start imagining that cashing in on the young lad is a passport to the Prem, because it ain't.

Keep him and play him. He can be the difference in games at this level and that could get us up, and that's worth 5-10 times the £10m transfer fee. Sell him only as a last resort.
