This bit in the

According to this

[url=http://news.kuwaittimes.net/2012/05/30/ex-qadsiya-chief-buys-british-club/]http://news.kuwaitti...s-british-club/

He's reveiewung the clubs commitments and it will probably be announced in a week

His first job will be to find a coach - looking at an ex QPR coach

Looks like their will be real Forest ******

Looking at that press release, this bit would be a concern to me....

News reports also said that Hasawi will work on brining in Kuwait players to improve their skills. “If I buy the club, I will support the movement of any Kuwaiti football player to this British club,” he was quoted as saying.

So would that club end up being a glorified training ground for the national side? Personally I would hate that.

I laughed at the 'owners richer than man citys' as that isn't even possible, never mind plausible!

This Kuwait guy seems geniune enough, and if Forest get rich owners... along with Leicesters rich owners and we get told we need to cut back again, I will gun down every suit in Pride Park!! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

This will all end in tears for them. Don't understand how they are excited.

Hmmm I wonder why some fans are getting excited?

Maybe because we may be going from having no money and having to sell/let go on a free most of our players. To potentially being taken over by a very rich man!

Definitely just looking for a cheap club where quality Kuwaiti players (such as...) can come and play against some decent opposition so they don't get bummed in the World Cup!

Although he also own the biggest club in Qatar, that have won the league 13 times! Which is the most of any team, so they're like the Man United of that league, with great facilities including a stadium with a capacity of 22,000 - should fit in well with forest then 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Made his money in the air-con business, but certainly not a Man City type owner, the guy doesn't have his own wikipedia page! Never bought a player for cash, always free transfers, footballs done differently over there, apparently you can have a player on loan for a game! Good job he can experiment on a club in England then!

Maybe he likes to barter..trade a few camels to join the donkeys he will inherit..

NOTTS Forest could take a step closer to finding new owners next week, with a preliminary meeting understood to be scheduled with a potential buyer.

But the group is not thought to include Kuwaiti business man Fawaz Al-Hasawi.

Several reports have linked Al Hasawi – said to be from one of the richest families in his home country – with a move for the Reds, after he revealed on Kuwaiti television that he was looking to buy an English second-tier club.

Club officials last night issued a statement insisting they 'could not comment' on media speculation, but that is largely because they are not actively involved in the negotiations, which are being handled by bank Seymour Pierce on behalf of the estate of Nigel Doughty.

But Post sources indicate that, while there has been contact from interested parties, there has been not been any from people connected to Al Hasawi.

Further meetings are understood to be taking place early next week, but any agreement is a long way from completion.

Leeds said that the Kuwait owners don't have much money...[url=http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/kuwaiti-businessman-slips-out-of-leeds-united-investment-equation-1-4604019]http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/kuwaiti-businessman-slips-out-of-leeds-united-investment-equation-1-4604019

but it looks like he could be Forest new owner sooner or later? either way, as I've previously said if Forest and Leicester get in a position where money is no object and show ambition, whilst we are happy becoming the next Crewe Alexander then I'm going to look at Rugby for a new sport to follow!
