I hope Clough gets him whatever happens with Commons. I have mentioned him but I wouldn't say he is a carbon copy of Commons, Ben Davies would be in that mould. Ryan Harley reminds me of Paul Green, bags of energy and probably more capable of an end product, although I do like Green. I haven't seen Harley that much think in total I've watched 4 games of his, but in 3 of them he was MOTM for me, the last one was earlier in the year he did look something special. Well I'm glad you think he's got bags of energy cause every time I'm seen him he's been a lazy toad like Commons last year, however it was September since I last saw him and I'm no expert. Couldn't comment on Davis as I've only seen him play the once. Harley is suppose too be a dead ball specialist also. I’m down in Exeter next week so will ask some questions….. My HP has informed me, allegedly, that a certain manager has attended two Exeter City games recently, one at home against Oldham and one away at Bristol Rovers, this makes sense with the Hoskins link. Yes Moxey was at Exeter with Sercombe and Harley however both current city players were just breaking into the 1st team and then Clough signed Deano. Moxey still has very strong links with Exeter and would know all about the Exeter players. I have seen Ryan Harley play 3 times in the last few weeks. He is a big favourite with Exeter City fans. He is the creative midfielder /playmaker we are missing, and his passing is superb. My only negative comment on him is that he drifts out of the game sometimes, but i reckon Cloughie and Metgod will make a much better player out of him, he is defo good enough to play in the championship. Will be a great signing. As for Will Hoskins i saw him before christmas in the Paint pot trophy. As clough would be getting the same sort of player for cheaper? ( forgive me if I sound rude but I don't know this kid Harley ) Is there any defenders in mind yet? I think it will be a case of if Commons goes this month we will sign Harley, if not we will sign Harley in the summer if he is still available.
