Yes he may be needed but it wouldn’t have been a reason for him being sub Thursday. He was sub Thursday because the team picked was deemed stronger. It doesn’t sit right to the other players who in general for one reason or another are ahead of him and deserve to be so, that are sidestepped in favour of a tribunal pay out. If Kellyman isn’t in that starting line up for the FA youth cup (which every club religiously field it’s strongest team) it makes a mockery of him being on the bench for the first team a week or so ago. Like it or not, maximising tribunal payouts is exactly what we need to be doing, since we can't stop 16 year olds being snapped up by PL clubs with cat 1 academies.
