Peter Lorimer

Peter Lorimer is just about the only member of Don Revie's "Leeds Machine" who I really enjoyed watching (Allan Clarke being the other!)

I am sorry to read that Peter has gone into a hospice due to a long-term illness.

I hope others will join me in wishing Peter and his family well at what must be a very difficult time.

So sad to hear this news.

RIP Peter.

A true legend in every sense of the world.

My sympathies to his family!

Probably the only bloke who could hit a ball harder than Alan Hinton.

A bit like Eddie Gray on the other wing for Leeds, I never considered Lorimer as a perpetrator of the dark arts some of their colleagues utilised. RIP.

Agree with this, Lorimer never went out with the intention to injure his fellow pros unlike a good proportion of his teammates.

Good player, RIP
