I seem to recall, a few years later, maybe 79/80/81 ish? our Ramaway won "Supporters coach of the year", or some such title? Operated by "Kinch". Bright yellow from memory. Brand spankers they were. State of the art, you could say. Obviously not as good as what the players/board travelled on, but for football fans, we were positively spoiled. Owd Ernie Hallam sat up front of the lead coach. I'm sure he used to do the royal wave, as we neared the away ground, amid the mingling Rams fans! ? The tracked version however (The train, obvs!) was somewhat quite the opposite. I don't think British Rail ever did get around to trusting football supporters to take good care of their carriages! For good reason, in fairness. ?
