ViewsFromTheMiddle
Quote However, there is expected to be a strong joint bid from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, with 2030 marking the 100-year anniversary of the first World Cup in Uruguay. https://bbc.in/2KijWcN

GenBr
How the hell would Argentina pay for a world cup - they are virtually bankrupt. Uruguay and Paraguay are hardly economic giants either. Having said that though i would say give this one to Uruguay just because of the anniversary thing and we'll take 2066.

Day
The FA planning to fund the bid using the Wembley sale by a chance? Couple of videos, .pdf’s and branding comes out at £80m somehow.
Van der MoodHoover
Dunno why we bother. Probably be awarded to a joint bid from the Marshall Islands, the Sultanate of Brunei and Papua New Guinea. Just to spread the global brand you understand. .?
BaaLocks
We've got more chance of winning the 2022 bid - I genuinely think the only chance we will get of seeing a World Cup on these shores in my lifetime is to hope that someone wakes up to the totally corrupt scandal that was the Qatar bid and asks someoone with a suitable infrastructure to step in last minute and do the right thing. You can but dream....
