21 and can't buy a start for Accrington Stanley... Let's be honest with ourselves here, he's not getting anywhere with us.

Yet never gets the vitriol that Mason always seems to get, despite there being 4 months between them. I am sure that it is down to him getting his debut at 15.

Mason has been subject to bad luck and mismanagement. When he should be around the first team, he's been handed off on waste of time loans to ***** clubs. Sadly its got to the stage where the writing seems like it's on the wall for him.

With Zanzala he was never close to being good enough for the first team.

Its irresponsible management to play these players at 15 / 16 years of age.

the fans think that we've got a budding superstar on our hands. The player finds it difficult to adapt to going back to the reserves and becomes frustrated.

making a debut at such a young age did no favours to bennett, holmes, powell and possibly even will hughes.

Stanley are 3rd in the league, why would they shoehorn Zanzala in? He’ll get 5 mins here and there, it’s up to him to make the best of any chance he might get.

He’d be better off down the bottom of the league and getting more minute.

So many questions about the Zanzala deal. Why would they loan him of they were just going to dump him on the bench. Why would we allow him to go for the experience of 5 minutes here and there?

I can only assume that we wanted him out of the way because the club know he's not really going anywhere.

Maybe but you can’t generalise, as seem to recall Rooney too made his debut at 16, didn’t do him any harm. Age doesn’t matter if they are good enough.

You'll always get the odd exception. E.g. The genuine article - Pele.

even in rooneys case i would argue that his career faded earlier than it might otherwise have done.
