King Kevin
Unfortunately it's the one that the club benefits most from when calling the ticket lines .Derby are top with 13 pence /minute and 10.8p goes to the club Second are Wolves ,third Bradford and forth Swindon ,fifth Wigan all with the same cost .This is complied from clubs that publish the numbers so there may be worse out there. Funny how we are top when there are five clubs on the same rate and not alphabetical order.
RamNut
Interesting post. But not good. it feels like a bit of a rip off.
rustylee
What annoys me is when they charge you extra for printing your own ticket at home another rip off on tickets.
Coneheadjohn
Derby are very good with ticket pricing and looking after fans in general. I trust they will look at this as not being in keeping with the ethics of the club.
Sith Happens
I thought about this at the last game when I saw the 0871 number shooting round the advertising boards. I do think its very poor these are still used as there is a huge cost to use them. If anything the club should be making it easier and issuing freephone numbers. I would like to know the justification for it.

WharfedaleRam
On hols at the minute and couldn't get my Forest match tickets online using the iPad. I emailed the club and they were good enough to ring me on my mobile and make the transaction over the phone. Thought that was good service. Under the circumstances (i.e. a likely full house), it wouldn't have surprised me if they'd ignored my email. Fair play to them.
Gritstone Ram
I suspect that if the club used a free phone number then the costs would be added to the ticket prices so people purchasing tickets via other methods such as in person would be subsidising the free phone number. Day
If the club used a free number we would have the, "it's okay we all get a free call to purchase our tickets. In Mel we trust" posts after a defeat.
RoyMac5
I imagine shorter calls is to keep staff numbers down, wouldn't want them to be on the (free) phone for too long talking to fans, I mean customers.
