WystonRam
Sheffield Weds beat them 1-0, can't see anywhere on the forum that this has been mentioned , does this put our hefty defeat into perspective or not ?( if this has already been discussed, sorry)
Sexydadbod
Pre season means nothing. Don't forget that Wednesday's manager is Portuguese so he'd know all about Benfica more than us.
robglosta
Probably means Pearson gone by Christmas.

It takes nothing away from their win, but it's a completely different situation when we played them. We played two different starting XIs, including six under-21 players. It was a complete mixed bag between the teams, too. We'll know more about our form once we've played Walsall, Chesterfield and Sheffield United. Kernow
In pre-season last year we lost to Grimsby Town who later went on to lose against Grantham Town. We can conclude that either pre-season results mean very little, or that we are worse than Grimsby Town and even more worse than Grantham Town. Or it's just perhaps Sheffield are better prepared for the new season at this moment tham we are. Their manager is not appraising his players for the first time.
