Tbf this time last year everyone was saying the same thing, that he has trimmed down etc but for some reason he put all the weight back on during the season. And Martin has hardly been a failure as he has been scoring an assisting consistently for 3 seasons now. Far more reasons to get rid of Johnson then Martin. No Bent was swanning around doing nothing but getting caught offside when he came on most of the time Martin loses interest and falls over a lot when things don't go well. They don't work together in a 4-3-3 and that's why Bent sits on the bench and Martin plays. Bent doesn't play the Martin lone striker role either.
