Ovis aries Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Simply an absolutely terrific film, fantastic acting from DeCaprio and Hardy, some one said you can not give a 10 for any film, OK 9.5 *****.
Kernow Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I'm really looking forward to seeing this. Will see it pretty soon after its release on Friday. The story it's based on is captivating and the trailer looks great. It's got to be Leo's Oscar this year surely!!
Kernow Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I really liked the film Legend. He got a bit of stick for not portraying both brothers completely accurately but imagine how tough it is to play two very different characters, both leading characters, at the same time.
rynny Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Thought it looked good from the trailer, definitely gonna give it a watch now, if it is crap @Ovis aries I am blaimg you and will want a refund
Mr. P Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 That scene when the Bear attacks is incredible. Really convincing. Give the bear an Oscar!
loughboroughRAM Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Just saw this tonight and can only describe it as awesome...THAT scene in particular is especially brutal!
Bris Vegas Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I didn't know what to expect from the trailor. It's a stunning film. Leonardi di Caprio is one of the finest actors of his generation and the amount of world class films he has been in is frankly ridiculous. I think only Tom Hanks tops him in terms of revenue per movie over the last 10-15 years. But Di Caprio, along with Hanks, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, etc. are pretty unique actors where you know with them involved the film is 9/10 likely to be brilliant. They rarely do poor films, not in their prime anyway.

ketteringram Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The film, never less than visually magnificent, is almost entirely pointless: a shaggy-bear story at best. Full Review… | January 8, 2016 Ryan Gilbey Review from the new statesman I believe.

Alph Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 What was he expecting from the film? To come out of the cinema with Bear Grylls survival skills? How can a film be pointless? It's either entertaining or its not. Film critics and football pundits. Chuck 'em in the bin
AmericanRam Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Watched it today. Absolutely brilliant imo.Nice plot, acting, etc. And yes Bear scene fantastic.
