Kernow
Surely strength of schedule does matter a bit?Only can beat what's in front of you though. We could beat Rotherham, MK Dons, Bristol City & Preston. Rotherham could beat Brighton, Boro & Burnley, but lose to us. They'd have had the harder games but we'd have the better overall results, which is ultimately what managers are judged on
cosmic
How many times was McClaren nominated Manager of the Month during his stint here? And what about previous years under Davies and Burley? Be interested to know how much these monthly awards reflect "successful" Championship campaigns.
angieram
It can't hurt Paul Clement's confidence for him to be nominated. I am pleased for him.Early days and lots of good things to build on.

jagerbob
Given its for september, and that doesnt include our victory over brentford, and it doesnt nclude Boros defeat at Reading. I'd say Boro are a dead cert to win it. 100% record for them in september

Chester40
Surely the most pointless award ever? Not quite sure why they bother, similar to player of the month award...which is usually given to someone who's scored a few goals that month. Think we know it's been a good month points-wise, we can build on that..whether some award comes with it externally makes not a jot of difference. Brammie Steve
Kiss of death no thanks. Seriously would be nice for him just into his first number one role.He may not be the best manager in this division but he's in the top one.
