Never been to Yankee Stadium. Very excited for this one.

Not only that, but you are only a 44 minute ride from Fraunces Tavern, a Porterhouse pub (owned by my mate Liam).

Try the Wrasslers XXXX - best stout you will ever taste.

It's run by a bloke called Eddie too.

As Ovis says, An Brainblasta (Gaelic for 'The Tasty Drop') is a cracking beer, strong and smoky.

Are Liam or the other Eddie Rams fans?

I was in LA a few years ago and saw a fella in a Forest top trying to order a chip butty from a cafe.. LOL

No, unfortunately (well, I know Liam Lahart isn't but I don't know the Eddie guy - just read his email address on the 'contact' page.

The Porterhouse own 4 pubs in Dublin and one in London, so that's how I got to know about them. I had a trip around their brewery once with the head brewer. That was fun.

Have a great time.

but can you ask him why he sold the rights to the catering and club shop for Curtains please?

Im an old school friend of Doug Tetley, CEO at DNC who have the rights for hospitality and catering at iPro. Having a reunion with my old school pals for England v Uruguay at Rugby World cup.... im sure I will get some decent info then.

They were looking at putting some concerts on and brought me in to advise. Dont shoot me...but I advised against!!

TG asked me to put together a forecast for ticket sales, band costs, insurance etc... Basically I did some music industry sums for him..gave comparisons from previous concerts at Pride Park.

Well I assume the chilly peppers and Rodney Stewart didn't make it pay enough?

In a nutshell yes... Mistake a lot of clubs or promoters make is taking on concerts later (agents looking for late sales..you missed the cut as a venue in 1st sell, but boy oh boy you grabbed it 2nd time around). Rod tickets had been on sale then sold out in close proximity Birmingham and Sheff months before so the Derby gig becomes like an overspill for those who didnt get tickets. Its difficult to sell out and sponsors are wanting 2nd hand deals too. This explanation is a bit black and white..there are many variable issues coming into play..
