Didn't even sound like thunder, just a huge bang and the sky light up followed by a crack and the same.Got worried so looked out the window, Shard was still there, The Eye, Victoria Tower and Big Ben still there, back to bed. All that heat and humidity it doesn't take much to make it unstable. woke me up, must have been several thunder clouds close together first Time in years I've seen lightning and heard thunder at the same time.
