Chocolate Detour: English chocolate - twirls, ripples, toffee crisps, mars bars, malteses, double deckers are the best out there for very sweet milky sugary chocolates. They are delicious. Consistently good chocolates and look to Belgium/Switzerland. For REAL chocolate, ie 60% plus cacao, then you need to look at france's Valrhona, Italy's Michael Cuizel, and exclusive chocolate confectioners like those. The USA has a few too: Shauffenberger for example.  We always have a bar of Valrhona at home, and some english chocs, generally ripples, and maybe a bar or two of Toblerone.

 

American mainstream chocolate is about as bad as it gets.

 

Frogg I am sure knows a lot about chocolate too, just guessing.
