Trouble is the great games that have already become films aren't exactly brilliant. Hitman, Tomb Raider, Silent Hill, Prince Of Persia, Resident Evil etc. Really hope they don't ruin The Last Of Us/Uncharted/Mass Effect games. Doesn't help that a lot of game to film adaptations have been directed by the world's worst director, Uwe Boll. Not just me that says that, Empire did a whole feature on him: http://www.empireonline.com/features/reviewofthedecade/5-rubbish-uwe-boll-video-game-adaptations/ Far Cry, House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, Blood Rain, Dungeon Siege to name 5 of the worst, but pretty much everything he does is a video game adaptation, and is terrible, his films rate an average of about 2.5-3 on imdb. Where the harmless zombies are just slightly annoying while the main character tries to shoot a man 500 yards away that's got himself trapped on some stairs.
