If it's hot and sticky then our high energy game will run them into the ground within the 90 minutes, even more so if the match goes to extra time. apologies. RamNut Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 Dont want it too hot due to our style of play. Fast pressing game. Wembley is renowned for being very energy sapping!! Not due to the sun. The cup final was a beautiful sunny day. In the past the pitch would have been bathed in sunshine........but with this shiite stadium roof and lowered pitch, the match was played in total gloom.
