ollieb123
Who would you guys start in the final? surely going to be a close call with Bryson, Hughes, Thorne and Hendrick all playing so well in the last few weeks
jimbobram
Who cares, whoever plays will do a job and win us the game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MuespachRam
Easy I think- drop Bryson. The other 3 are "un-droppable"
rammie002
Hendrick, Bryson and thorne. Thought Thorne and Hendrick were absolute quailty again today, and just can't leave Bryson out. Harsh on Hughes as I thought he played his best game in a long time today, get's shrugged off the ball too often though.
HeyHudson
I think Hughes has to play as he's the only one who gives us that level of ball possession. Thorne is nailed on for the CDM role, so then it's between Hendrick and Bryson. Both are very good going forward but in different ways. Bryson links up neatly with others (specifically Martin) whereas Hendrick has the strength to power forward on his own, so it's up to McClaren to decide which of those approaches he favours. For me, it's Thorne, Hughes and Bryson. The large Wembley pitch should give Will plenty of space. If he's is getting knocked about, swap him for Hendrick, concentrate less on intricate passing and put Thorne in charge of ball retention, which he's more than capable of. See, this tactics lark is a piece of pi$$
CBE
I would accept that Thorne is going back to his club anyway and go with Bryson Hughes Hendrick with Eustace as an option. Thorne has been Schteeves best signing but for me hardly ireplaceable.

Hendrick, Bryson and Hughes does not work.

Thorne has been Schteeves best signing but for me hardly ireplaceable. Those 3 are all attacking midfielders... We tried playing Hendrick in the holding role and he was nowhere near as effective as when he's pressing high up the pitch, look at his goal today as proof. Therefore, Thorne is irreplaceable as he is one of 2 CDMs we have and he is better than Eustace, our other option.
Ewetube
I think George Thorne nailed on for CDM and any combination of Bryson, Hughes or Hendrick could work and would give the option of a change if things went pear-shaped.
HeyHudson
Time to make it work. It hasn't work yet, why would it now? And why on earth would McClaren gamble this once-in-a-lifetime, multi-million pound opportunity on it?
Dimmu
All three of them scoring today... Macca hasn't changed the winning team if it's been possible so my guess is he'll stick with today's team.
CBE
Hendrick is back to his best Id give him another go there.
Gary Teale
I think we play our best when Hughes is in the side as he is a better passer than Hendrick and Bryson and gives us more variation in our play so amazingly one of them two should be left out. rammie002
Bailey, eustace, Sammon Sammon as the CDM and ball controller right? Eustace bombing on in support of martin.
HeyHudson
On a slight tangent, I do like seeing Hughes in the position be was in today - pushed forward in the hole behind Martin. Gives him space to thread the ball around and also get involved in the attack himself.
Gary Teale
Surely we should try and fit them all in and push Hendrick and Hughes out wide, or Bryson has played left side. That may be sarcasm
