He masterminded this whole situation from the start, in fact, probably since he was about 10, just to culminate in Saturday. He's like Moriarty. Wheels within wheels. All far too complicated for most of us to fathom. But I've sussed it. Macavity was supposedly modelled upon Moriarty - and he was described in T.S. Eliot's poem as the "Napoleon of Crime". BD and Napoleon both suffered from Short Man Syndrome. I can see precisely where you are coming from (luckily for everyone else on this website, we are the only two who are batshit insane). I like Burslem. There's a lovely pub near Vale Park called Post Office Vaults. I always visit there. Try it, makes you appreciate Burslem more.
