Have the boys become men?

We've played some good stuff this season but shipped goals at the other end .Two ugly wins on the trot now with clean sheets ,QPR were a niggly ,dirty, prem -wise team and we stood up to them well especially Chris Martin .

Did'nt go last night ,but by all accounts we did it against the run of general play but hung on and came through  . Have we got another facet to our play now, a bit of steel.?

Craig Ramage thinks so   -    he kept telling us they had become men.   A new alternative to 'something is happening here' . Keep it up Craig, we love you..................

Not as good as been there, but listening to Ramage describe a Derby win whislt watching Barca vs City with volume down was a decent 2nd best.

Got to get back to playing well though. McClaren said it too before I get called a moaner.

We're a better side with the ball than we are mixing it up and defending.

The last couple of games have gone ok. But we ARE better when we get playing properly. There's a time and a place for it all but you don't want to become a grinding team. McClaren doesn't want us to become a grinding team.

It's not just finding a way to win. You've got to find a way to play the way that suits you.

Grinding a result when not playing well is the sign of a good team but not too often or it's the sign of a team that isn't that good and just grinds results. Like Billy's promotion team. First team that you come up against that takes control and you'll likely get beat. If not, then the next time.

In the long run you mostly get what you deserve.

Need to play to our strengths.

McClaren said "must do better". So I've got faith. He's never said anything about grinding results being a good thing. Just neccesary sometimes and performances are most important because they eventually lead to more points than grinding
