Ram@Lincoln
Been sent packing back to Spurs. Breaking news on the official site but the story link is broken. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/smith-returns-to-tottenham-1205243.aspx Defender sees his loan spell with Derby come to an end early. Adam Smith has returned to Tottenham Hotspur after his loan deal with Derby County was mutually terminated this afternoon. The 22-year-old right-back joined the Rams on the eve of the new season and made 10 appearances in total in a Derby shirt. Following the loan signings of Andre Wisdom from Liverpool and Michael Keane from Manchester United in recent weeks, Smith’s first-team opportunities were likely to be restricted. Derby County would like to take this opportunity to wish Adam all the very best for the future. DcFc Dyycheee
Good, wasn't what I quite expected from him tbh, poor defender. Who will play RB if Wisdom gets an injury etc? Keane?
AndyinLiverpool
Anybody suspect that we've agreed to sign Keane permanently?
YorkshireRam
Good, wasn't what I quite expected from him tbh, poor defender. Who will play RB if Wisdom gets an injury etc? Keane? Keogh? He played at RB for Coventry I think.
North_Stand_Ram
Dissapointed with him. Couldn't defend for *****. And no Andy, I doubt it. United hold him in high regard and Eng u21 regular..
Alpha
Anybody suspect that we've agreed to sign Keane permanently? Would United be willing to let him go at such a young age for a defender? Be a big signing.

Leicester Ram
Does mutually terminated mean that we don't have to pay out the rest of his wages?
Ramarena
With Wisdom coming in and OB and Whitbread approaching fitness, I can see Smith returning to Spurs. Good guess- You win Bully's star prize!!!!
Ramarena
Does mutually terminated mean that we don't have to pay out the rest of his wages? And what happens to the loan fee
Srg
Fair enough. Bet it was Spurs recalling him actually because we weren't playing him.
Rich3478
Does mutually terminated mean that we don't have to pay out the rest of his wages? Would imagine it means us and spurs have agreed a deal over the contract! Probably paid some of his wages. Spurs now free to send him out in January. Loan fee will be lost at a guess
smiffy
You can bet your bottom dollar we have lost out on the deal, we always fooking do.
Rich3478
You can bet your bottom dollar we have lost out on the deal, we always fooking do. It's a loan, you'll never make money! Like hiring anything? We'll have saved by cutting the deal short rather than let him sit here all season. Good move all round, try and look for positives sometimes
