History says players out long term with Injury rarely come back without short term issues or reoccurrences of the original problem. I just think we need a solid CB to partner either Keogh or Buxton now ( not sure who's best at the moment) and also still think we need a leader in this position.....problem is, is there one out there? how much will one cost? will NC be given the funds? Posh Ram Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Yes sign a CB on a permanent deal before the deadline. i think if we want to really push on this season, we need a proper CB to play every week, so that buxton can be the back-up CB putting pressure on keogh for his first team place. ideally the new lad will be a proper CB, experienced at this level and also giving us a threat in the air. a bit like barker really, shame his knee's f*cked... We need somebody that is going to deal with balls in the air, as both seem incapable of doing this. Buxton and Keogh should be fighting for the same place in the team... not playing together!
